  1. 20-25. Hopefully beat Southampton at home, potentially Ipswich. Potential for 1 or 2 more against Wolves and Everton. Probably a random unexpected draw in there somewhere. And that's our lot.
  2. It's seems really tough to make a good go of it at the moment, would mean 6 of the last 6 promoted teams straight back down, and yet the 3 promoted from the season before now sit 3rd, 7th, and 10th. Think we've got to take a really smart approach to the Championship. Utilise the loan market more and then see a promotion as a chance to buy young quality.
  3. Nice move and finish.
  4. Not sure I've seen Nunes have a good game for City.
  5. Not sure they're good enough to stay up but I do feel like McKenna is squeezing everything out of this squad that he can. Wonder what next season would look like for them if they do drop; they should really be favourites for the Champ but potentially could see Davies, Delap, McKenna all leaving.
  6. 10 mins for Saints to find an equaliser. Forest taken the big hitters off.
  7. Spurs are awful but Everton showing more today than we have at any point this season. We're not at the races.
  8. They sacked Mourinho a week before a cup final to be fair.
  9. Surely Ange is on the brink.
  10. You can't turn a tortoise into a racehorse, but you can turn it into a fast tortoise. I'm not convinced Ruud has done this, though I would like to see how we'd fare with Mads and Ndidi available to him.
  11. It's definitely true that we haven't had "luck" in terms of opposition dropping a brain fart against us, but I think this is in part because we don't put enough pressure on them. Pressing in ones and twos rather than a pack and it's so easy for teams to pass it out against us. We're a training game for most teams at the moment.
  12. This signing on its own should be a sackable offence.
  13. Fair play for going shoulder to shoulder with Traore and leaving him on the floor 👏🏻
  14. He definitely shouldn't be playing 90 every game, but we'd be down with Southampton points if he wasn't here.
  15. Think we'd have had a much better transfer window with Enzo. That would have been the difference. With this exacy squad I don't think we'd be in much different a position.
  16. Losing games without scoring in this volume is going to be ringing alarm bells. Not sure what a change would do with the squad in the state it is though and Ruud isn't helping himself with some of his decisions. Think he'll get Spurs & Everton and will need some points from those.
  17. Deja vu. No positives at all. Probably needed at least 4 points from these games and we've taken 0 without laying a glove on our opposition.
  18. I know he's frustrating at times, but: Assist v Liverpool Big chance created that should have been scored v Man City Goal v Villa (+ Scored v QPR) He's the only player with any meaningful output for us lately.
  19. Fulham, Bournemouth, and Forest all playing Championship football in 2022.
  20. Absolutely insane record. Thought Chelsea's 15 against in the Prem was ridiculous but Burnley could actually get below 18 which would beat it on a per game basis.
  21. It's hard to see a situation where he isn't a valuable asset to sell. They've probably just ensured that when he does move on they'll get good money for him.

Yep was a small chance to really flip the mood and feel like we could build a little momentum and the opportunity has completely passed us by. Think we've now got to just scrap and hope that by the time the Wolves games rolls around we aren't completely cut adrift. It's gonna be grim between now and then though.
  23. Also I don't know who you people are who film the light show on your phone, but stop it.
  24. Appreciate this sounds like the old man shouting at cloud meme but the "match day experience" now really is awful. Light shows, flame throwers, US style announcer, shit kick off times, flags that say shit like "ready for battle", clappers, VAR. Add shit football into the mix and I do wonder why I still bother.

Had a scan over their recent results and to say it was a mixed bag would be an understatement. In their last 10: 2 wins (Brighton, Chelsea) 6 draws, which has included Arsenal and Liverpool but also Ipswich and Southampton 2 losses (Wolves, West Ham) An odd team, far from unbeatable. Though will need to actually finish some chances seeing as we're incapable of conceding fewer than 2.
