  1. Samsung, Googleand some other app that holds the cards I can’t put into the others for some reason
  2. The banking crash really did a number on western politics. The left went culty, the right went cvnty, and the rest of us are staring at them in disbelief.
  3. Gave it one final guess at the pin before we headed off to Npton to get it factory reset. Halfway through guessing last night I saw there is an OK button, unlike on iOS. Consequently, I had no idea what guesses I’d previously done. Entered my standard 4 digit code, clicked OK, and bingo - I was in. Then, because I’d tried to reset it through Google at around 1 in the morning, the bloody thing wiped itself. As frustrating as it’s been, I think I like it. The only issue is now working out how to get the tree wallets to pay for things. One bank card worked yesterday in one wallet, my other bank card didn’t in another one because it told me it was a travel card. Why can’t there be just a single wallet? Doh.
  4. Came yesterday. I must be special.
  5. The plethora of things you have to do when setting up a new phone, the ridiculous volume of passwords and downloads…and somewhere along that line was a PIN. I don’t remember setting up a device PIN. Three guesses to see if you can ascertain the thing I don’t remember most. I now own a Z Brick 6.
  6. It's great, but its pissing in the wind. Total boycott is the only thing that will shift the dial...and then extends league wide. All clubs are having us for mugs - don't comply.
  7. What can you not.like from Lidl? Everything is better at Lidl. The quality at Asda, Morriston and Tesco is absolutely through the floor.
  8. Just an FYI for those in real need of this, Asda are doing a cracking offer on megapack tissues. https://groceries.asda.com/product/box-cube-tissues/kleenex-original-tissues-mega-pack-75-more-tissues/1000383165157
  9. Nothing to stop people growing a spine and doing it on their own imo. They won't though. This time next year they'll all be whining about the 20% price rise, £50 loyalty tax, and shirts being sponsored by the Russian FSB
  10. I was on morphine, diazepam and codeine when I decided to sack off a lifetime of Apple and buy a Samsung Z Fold 6 last week. I'm just on codeine now, and it's not taking away the pain of trying to get Android to function as intuitively as iOS.
  11. Vest, Y-fronts, propensity to engage you in a conversation about the weather or the remarkable qualities of Suzanna Reid.
  12. Yep, all of that. Absolute fvckwits.
  13. He's cycling normally - there's no "rush to get past" What does "blind overtake" even mean - he's conducting a perfectly normal manoeuvre. You admit you have no idea whether he's indicated himself or not, so why even mention it? "Making a close pass / attempting to push through a tight gap" - now you are just getting desperate to hate on him for being a cyclist. This is a ridiculous comment. The gap is perfectly fine. "escalating a situation afterwards" - you've never responded to someone on the road who's done a dick move? You're engaging in victim blaming, and that's never a good look mate.
  14. DHL. At least I now know I can pop to the shop for toilet paper!
  15. This kind of delivery will never not be annoying. May as well have said "Sometime in July".
  16. What did he do wrong? Bus was stationary, he went to ride around it because it gave no indication of moving, driver didn't check his mirror. and Vine had right of way.
  17. But hey, I’ve climbed the stairs and tried to get into bed, and the searing pain has offered me a moment of clarity. Currently in Leeds, neither you nor I has a fvcking clue what’s going on. Nor do the legions of bots, trolls and basic cvnts on Twitter. Consequently, am I more upset about (rather than angry) racists on Twitter being racist d1cks? Fvck yes. Because even if it is a certain group of people doing something incredibly dumb, whoever they may be, they aren’t representative of hundreds of thousands of individuals currently not trying to set fire to a bus with a Bic lighter. Now I’m sure the Daily Mail or whatever you read would like us all to vilify swathes of people because of their origin, religion, skin colour or sexuality…but I’m sorry to inform you that this is not a much touted British value. We true Brits are a damn sight more tolerant. And with that I’m going to embrace my nighttime morphine.
  18. I am. I am completely off my tits.see my tits over there? Well I’m over here not on them. Sorry, am I meant to be angry about something? Memo me. I probably won’t read it, but at least you will have had an input to my next post that causes you to attribute subtext to and get vexed about. PS. I’m off my fvcking tits.
  19. Made the mistake of checking Twitter - racist Twitter is on one. CBA with the blocking tonight. I’m having a gin.
  20. The fvck is that about? 🤣
  21. Not exactly Tampa Bay Rowdies or NY Cosmos, eh.
  22. Reportedly raised £60,000. "The cost for a body repatriation can be anywhere between £2,500 and £20,000, however the average cost usually tends to be somewhere around £3,000 to £6,000. The cost for an ashes repatriation is usually lower and can be around £1,000 to £3,000 depending on the level of the service" - Homeland International Body Repatriation
  23. When I had my breakdown I was left unable to work - and hence meet my obligations. Wife put me into bankruptcy. At the end of the year I was discharged and got a bog standard bank account. A year or so later I changed bank providers and obtained a normal bank account. They took one of my motorbikes away, the one that was on credit. They left my old XJ900S as they told her it wasn't worth their time trying to sell. That was it, the full extent of the inconvenience. They had a poke around the house, wife told them everything belonged to her or the kids. That was it. There's a stigma to it that isn't born out by reality. I went on to get one of those high interest credit cards, did my monthly spending on it and repaid in full every time - my credit rating soared. I can strongly recommend bankruptcy.
