Yeah...can't really argue with that...I know what I meant! I don't think that as a team, they are overall better than us. If we had just one striker who could finish, we would probably be sat where they are. If that makes slightly more sense... ..im giving myself a headache now.

Agree with that, but you could put Daka in that coventry team and he would still be on 0 goals. We don't create chances, and when we do, we have no ability to make them count. The two things together are a recipe for failure. If you arent going to make many chances, you have to be clinical with the few you do make.

Don't think Coventry are any better than us overall in what is a shockingly low standard league. The difference is they have players who can put the ball in the net. Wright (7), Torp (5) and Thomas-Asente (4). All we can offer is Fatawu with 2 goals. Its shocking really and unless anything changes, theres not a hope in hell of getting out of this league. And to think we had the usual bunch of brain dead giving it the "mind the gap" nonsense to Coventry only a matter of days ago.

Lets see what these bunch on cvnts can muster up today then.

Id bring Ricardo into defence but keep the rest, albeit begrudgingly. I prefer Thomas to VK which says something about how bad VK is. Don't know about the rest, its an absolute train wreck of a squad. Don't want to see Mavididi anywhere near the starting line up.

The only thing worse than Enzo ball is Enzo ball without results.

Agree with everything apart from the last line, Moore literally won everything for them up front. Up against it up there on his own, but i think he did well for them.

And we're still yet to actually play anyone decent.. Cov were mediocre at best, despite their league position, same with WBA.
-
past blaming managers now. Time to just realise we're a club riddled with overpaid useless fvcktards.

The defending is difficult, defenders have the manoeuvrability and speed of a container ship, Midfielders are none existent and constantly go out of position and strikers shooting is absymal. So far, its making for a fantastically authentic Leicester City career mode. 10/10

Totally agree. The games are rewarding when you win, but the games aren't enjoyable in the slightest. Just feels the ultimate team side of things is now focused on the sweats that buy coins and play 24/7 and just use skill moves and known bugs like if you do a through ball at a certain time it will always come off, or if you shoot from a certain angle it will always come off. A bit like a couple of years ago when you just pass to a fast winger, wait for the keeper to automatically come out and then square it to an open goal. Ultimate team has been taken away from the casual gamer in my opinion.

Defending is an absolute joke. Cricket scores on rivals until you manage to master it. I am getting better having watched some tutorials and stuff. You've essentially got to NOT control your defence as opposed to previous games where the AI does a lot of it for you. Player switching is key. Try to use your CDMs for all the leg work and tracking back. The minute you take control of a CB, your whole defence goes wibble and they'll bang a through ball and its a certain goal. Rinse & repeat. Do not take control of your CB's and use all your midfielders, and even strikers if needed, to track back and do the graft. Only use your CB's if its last resort or your sure you can get the tackle in. Its taken me some getting used to, but im grinding out some wins now. In typical Fifa / FC fashion, the games riddled with issues though.

Genius by the club if you ask me. A lot of families can't afford to go to Hollywood so they've brought Hollywood to us. Think of all the Marvel merch you can bring along for Connor Coady to sign.

I am in no way advocating for BDCR to start, but you make your own luck. He got himself into a position, and then took the shot which resulted in the deflection & goal. Mavididi has played 6 out of 7 of the league games now, as an attacking player, and not got a single goal or assist. Monga, whos had a tiny fraction of game time in comparison, is already on 1 goal and 1 assist. Mavididi is shit, dont be fooled by all his fancy step overs and the odd feint. Genuinely dont believe we would be much worse off with BDCR playing instead of him.

Liverpool losing, standby for 45 minutes added time and a dubious penalty.

I totally disagree about any expectation of mid table, we should be getting out of this league. But I do totally agree about a run in the Premier league. It's pointless getting promoted because we literally would need atleast 9 new first team players of prem quality. No way this club could assemble a Premier league worthy team. We'll be the laughing stock. -

Can you imagine doing that with the likes of Schmeichel & Wes Morgan in the dressing room. Back when the team had some passion, self respect and identity. -

What an abysmal performance and result. Players shooting from 40 yards out and players diving to try and win free kicks shows just how clueless these bunch of clowns are. Every time we play, its like they've never played with each other before. Rancid. -
Who the fvcks getting excited about that? Absolutely abysmal performance and point. Players shooting from 40 yards, players diving. Absolutely clueless.
-
Literally nothing in attack. Absolutely nothing.
-
Definitely left it too late against Coventry.
-
Not mad at that. Played well against Coventry and should have won. Only changes i would like to have seen would be Carranza in for Ayew and Monga in for Mavididi.
-
Yup I hope so mate. Coventry is the only game I think we deserved more. Overall we played well, we were the better team overall, and we actually seemed to create some decent chances. Mavididi's miss was inexcusable for a professional footballer and single handedly cost us 2 points. Oxford was a frustrating point, because again, take away the individual error (sending off) and I can almost guarantee we'd have won, and probably done so comfortably. Thats 4 points in 2 games where individuals have cost us points.

Perhaps Nelson might get more of a chance as the season progresses and we are in a better position. He's played twice under the new manager and looked a bit of a bomb scare both times. I for one am more than happy for Faes & Vesty & Okoli to be infront of him at present. If he's good enough, im sure his time will come.

Its typical Fifa / FC... Fix one thing and completely obliterate another. Defending is absolutely abysmal, like broken beyond belief.
