  1. We'd be fvcked with Enzo or Cooper. With this board sabotaging the club, it's merely damage limitation now.
  2. I can't comment on how good a lawyer he is but he's one of these who are all over Tik Tok etc. He'll have zero interest in the case itself, but rather more the publicity he'll get as a result. I'd bet my bottom dollar he's offered to represent them free of charge just so he can attach himself to the 'story' and further his Tik Tok venture. Hes like the 'spudman' of jacket potato stalls or the 'pool guy' of cleaning swimming pools. (If you know, you know) It wasn't aimed at you mate, or even comments from this forum alone, it's been spouted a few places by people who genuinely believe it's attempted murder.
  3. I know it's not in or around town, but not far at away at all for anyone north of the county. Hickorys smoke house. Brisket Sub with dipping gravy was another world.
  4. Never in a month of Sundays is this attempted murder. You'd do well do see stabbings down as Attempt Murder now, always GBH or at best, GBH with intent. There's nothing to suggest the person has even got any injuries constituting that of GBH so you'll probably end up with a low level ABH at best. Some people suggesting Attempt Murder are so far away from the reality of the justice system it's worrying.
  5. It's just a copy & paste article that rears its head every year on the lead up to the season starting. It's the people who run the platforms that have something to worry about, not the streamers.
  6. I was a police officer for almost 10 years. The worrying thing for me was that you could deal with certain areas of society disliking you. It's almost a way of life for them and they are raised to not like the police. What became worrying is that you increasingly noticed that 'normal' tax paying & law abiding people started to dislike you. Now I'm not saying dislike in the way that they would fight you and spit at you, but most definitely saw you as a waste of time. It's a shame, because all police officers have families and homes. There's not a police officer in the country that doesn't want to get burglars and rapists, but unfortunately, through no control of their own, all of their time is spent dealing with people that are vulnerable, or people who can't have an amicable relationship. Less officers, more demand. There's absolutely no victim satisfaction from the police any more and most of the time, it's reactive policing, not proactive. I could go on forever, but I hate seeing the growing trend of being anti - police when I know how hard 99% of police officers on the ground work.
  7. I agree, but in the nicest way possible, it doesn't really matter what happened prior. It's pretty factual from the footage, that the chap is restrained on the floor. However you dress it up, or try to justify it, there's no way that's necessary or proportionate. I'm very pro Police, like i say, but that's not acceptable and things like this only make the job harder for other officers who are already disliked by the majority of the population.
  8. Thank God for that.
  9. The facts are there. Regardless of what he had done prior, however bad, he was restrained and offered little to no resistance at that point. There's absolutely no justification for kicking a restrained person in the head, and then stamping on them. That's red mist at its finest, perhaps they had been fighting just prior and can blame adrenaline & red mist but still, police should show restraint, especially those that carry a deadly weapon. I'm mega pro police, but some things you just can't defend. He'll 100% lose his job. I'd be surprised if there's not any fractures given the kick with those boots on, probably looking at GBH too.
  10. Stinks of a Forest-Esque signing.
  11. I genuinely think you'd struggle to get much worse. Home kit has grown on me though.
  12. Danny ward, luke Thomas... I've just been sick in my mouth.
  13. Imagine not having a single friendly at home, and then charging to watch them via a stream.
  14. Imagine the service someone like Weghorst would have got from Albrighton.
  15. Wouldn't even pursue a player that doesn't want to move here. Have we not learnt the importance of having player that want to play for the shirt?
  16. Pretty sure this would be done and dusted by now if he actually wanted to come. Seems set on Roma, who clearly can't afford him.
  17. I want the thread closing just so you pipe down in fairness.
  18. I mean that's a pretty horrific list, little wonder we are lumbered with them.
  19. We planning a "when will Southampton register interest" sweepstake?
  20. Sure I saw him grabbing some Gnocci from the co op on Aikman Avenue
  21. So are ticket details being advertised to Chesterfield supporters or Leicester supporters?
  22. Definitely needed it's own thread this.
  23. Now Southgate can fvck off with a bit of luck. Well deserved Spain.
