I remember we've had him before and there was lots of positive things said when we last had him too. A very good referee.

He's clearly not a fan of Albrighton given the fact he's barely ever in the squad. Sentiment aside, I don't think many managers would put a player so close to retirement in their match by match squad as you have to have an eye on the future. We massively lack any alternative to Fatawu or Mavididi. Fatawu less so, but Mavididi is prone to some right stinking games but will always be guaranteed his spot.

I feel Enzo plays due to lack of any real alternative. But yeah, we'll see.

Okay, humble pie time. I've been very critical of Enzo, I haven't liked his style of play since he arrived and I've slated him a fair amount. I've not completely changed my opinion. I still question how successful this style of play will be with the squad we'd likely be able to assemble. I also think there was a slight tweak (less negative football) after the players chat that Vardy initiated. But on the flip side, perhaps he did have a more difficult take than I gave him credit for with the destruction left by Rodgers. I like how he's bonded with the players, I like his energy & how he seems like 'one of the lads'. Still going to need some convincing to be 'Pro Enzo' but I'm happy to admit I was wrong.

That interview definitely shows Vardy wants to be here next year. No political answer, just a, I keep myself fit and I'm ready.

Enjoyed this season more than the Premier League. Would I want to be here indefinitely, absolutely not, but it's definitely a better all round experience than the Premier league.
