Worst season in the clubs history incoming.
adejo92 replied to Allenho11's topic in Leicester City Forum
It might not be 'bad' but it's miles from the quality needed to survive in the Premier League. Mads, Ricardo, Winks, Buonanotte, Fatawu & Ndidi are the only players I think would stand a chance of getting into another Premier League starting 11 and even then, bottom half teams at best. Even Ndidi I'm basing off of a prime Ndidi, the current Ndidi wouldn't get touched by other Premier League teams. Mavididi far too inconsistant but good on his day. I dunno, I just think that as a starting 11, in a division where you need everyone to be at their best, we are no where near what's to be required. -
Your lying, I'm NG

But those clubs have brought players in to strengthen their team. We've brought a CB who's said to have the manoeuvrability of an Oak Tree, a Fulham pensioner and a kid from Chelsea who we'll probably never see. Fatawu (not really a new addition) and the Brighton lad are the only two who might be good additions but I still think we are no better off than last season. In fact losing KDH, I'd say we are weaker unless the Brighton lad really excels.

Agree to an extent, but each week we aren't strengthing our team, we are dropping points. With the points deduction as well, we really can't be dropping unnecessary points when really, we should have strengthened and integrated them in to the squad by now. Besides Fatawu, who's not really a new signing, who have we actually brought to strengthen our team? Having lost KDH, we literally have a weaker starting 11 than we did last season. People have every right to be negative and worried. I do agree that some aspects are over the top, but lets not pretend things are alright.

They're not even going to lube up are they. -
Yup, very torn I was on a 2.19% 5 year fixed. I am siding with 5 years but now very tempted with the 3 year. Gamble isn't it really.
-
Really torn with this because King Power are becoming our downfall, yet just about everything good we've achieved has come under their ownership. We can't continue to decline whilst holding on to the nostalgia of 'we won the league' and ultimately, it's probably best for both parties that the clubs sold. I think Top just isn't equipped to run the club, and he's let down by his key advisories. The rot is much deeper than Top, the whole club would need a reset. Rudkin the cockroach would probably survive even if the club did get sold! A lot about our ownership does frustrate me, but I don't dislike them. Whether they genuinely like the club, or whether it's just a business to them, they'd still want the best success, they just seem to struggle with how to achieve it. Running a football club obviously isn't their bread and butter duty free etc so clearly out of their depth.

So, it's time to change my mortgage deal. Does anyone have any ideas which is likely to prove best out of 3 or 5 year fixed?

They'll have to extend match of the day to get all the goals shown from this game. -
I actually enjoyed the Championship last season, which is just as well, because we get to do it again!

May I ask where our goal comes from? Or is it a spurs OG? -

Genuinely buzzing to watch Faes & Kristiansen chase their own shadow for 90 minutes, Bobby Decordova Reid pull up with a strain that puts him out for the season and Daka to....well, and Daka. -
Save yourself the time and just conclude that whatever it is, if its bad, it's Rudkins fault.
-
Because unless your Thai, no one gives a fvck.
-
Totally agree. I don't mind him at all. He's not just someone to regurgitate other people's rumours, he's genuinely well in with the agents and stuff so by large quite reputable. Some transfers will always fall through but there's never any completely false rumours with him.
-
I think it's harsh to tar the likes of Perez, Cannon & Souttar with the same brush as people like Ryan Bennett, Danny Ward, Ryan Betrand & Musa. I know he never set the world a light, but I never really minded Perez. Not sure I've seen enough of Cannon & Souttar to class them as Donkeys either. Daka is borderline for me. I really don't like him at all but there's still that feeling that he's capable of something. Don't ask me where that feeling comes from, because he's been absolutely diabolical week in week out, but there's just a feeling.

Nice Try Rudkin, Nice try.
-
As if Rudkins smoke screened us with Zaha and Hlozek then slid Jordan Fvcking Ayew. There's still hope of a return for Ryan Bertrand to solve our left back issues.

You could have said sooner, could have saved us 38 pages.

Il be much more confident if / when we get the likes of Zaha & Hlozek but I don't expect either to feature against Tottenham. With our current squad, I'm going for 4-0. We've absolutely 0 attacking threat / capability and the likes of Maddison, Son & Kulusevski are going to absolutely abuse our defence. Hopefully we've got someone on standby to untangle Kristiansen once Brennan Johnsons finished with him. -
Absolutely no where near Premier League level. Can't attack, completely lost in defence. What do you rate about him? His enthusiasm? His hair? He'll cost us no end of goals. Worries me much more than the likes of Vestergaard. Il give it until next Monday for him to be responsible for a conceded goal.
-
We are in dire need of a LB. I can't believe there's actually a chance of Kristiansen starting for us in the Premier League. He's absolutely horrendous.
-
Granted, Zaha is a bit of a shit house, but he'll be our shit house. So long as his work ethic is there, I'd welcome him here with open arms. I've been critical of the board regarding lack of signings, but getting the likes of Zaha, and Hlozek in would be good work. Ideally would have been sooner to have allowed them to integrate into our squad, but it is what it is. I do worry about this season, but a couple of signings like those mentioned, definitely make me feel more positive. I think this season isn't about being 'good' it's more about being less sh1t than 3 other teams.
-
We absolutely adore what's probably the biggest shit house in English football. I'm sure we can grow to love Zaha for a few months!
