I live 5 minutes walk away from Portland harbour, and walked a bit further than planned to Chesil beach and the fleet lagoon. Saw about 6 oystercatchers fly off, I love their markings. The only thing that was missing today was the cormorants we sometimes see. There's another wildfowl park in town that has Marsh harriers and a hooded merganser

Walked about 3 miles today. Saw some cracking seabirds... oyster catcher, turnstone , little egret. All in the company of the stunner that is Mrs Filthyfox
