  1. I've literally watched us domestically and in Europe and have done since 1980. I think people need to get their shit together. "huffing and puffing" to win 3-0 in the best league in the world is just fine with me. I just don't get where the energy comes from to start on here with such bone-aching negativity. There is space for lots of constructive criticism, but a lot of the comments on here are just tedious.
  2. The negativity on here from start to finish is exhausting. It goes from "we're shit, we're going to lose" to "we're shit because we're beating the worst side in the league" via "why can't we play like this against everyone". Jesus. Get a bloody grip. What's the point in following this team to be so negative?
  3. Just got through Security at Brum. 50 minutes even with fast track. I’d guess 60-90 minutes without. Traditional pint of Guinness and cooked breakfast on order. Happy days!
  4. A couple of big chants for Ranieri, but nothing more. Would be disrespectful to Puel to chant for Claudio throughout the game.
  5. Harvey Barnes to get the equaliser
  6. What, the established players who turned on Ranieri and got him sacked?
  7. And perhaps name the stand in his honour.
  8. His Twitter feed suggests his missus is pregnant.
  9. Given our successes there in recent seasons and West Brom's atrocious form...it's got to be a win for the Baggies. I just know this in my bones. We keep being the match that breaks teams out of a bad run of results. Story of the season. One of them, at least.
  10. It was Iheanacho who missed the almost open goal, not Ndidi. Ndidi finished brilliantly, but it was offside.
  11. I'm afraid you've got this totally wrong. Ndidi is superb already and will be a £50M+ player by the end of the season. I really rate Iborra, but Ndidi is probably the first or second name on the team sheet for me.
  12. apparently not
  13. What's the word on Iborra not even being on the bench? I know we have huge competition in CM, but I expected him to play ahead of James (who did a decent job). His height and strength might have been important. Walking to the ground I overheard some City fans suggesting that he is homesick. Any truth in this?
  14. For me what was most satisfying was to win by two with a clean sheet against very tough opposition. I mean tough in the literal sense- they lack some quality going forward but I thought Watford were difficult to beat yesterday and the boys should take immense credit for a job well done. Dragovic was my MOTM, closely followed by Ndidi and Maguire. Amongst many things, I like the way that we seem to be able to win in different ways under Puel. God love Shakey, but we are so much better off now than we were at the start of the season.
  15. Can anyone find me a part of the ground where I am not within earshot of at least one mouth-breather shouting about Mahrez being shit and/or lazy?
  16. This one being shown on Sky or BT?
  17. I drove down with my lad for only his second away game. It was truly dreadful. The only good thing was that we were blinded by the morning sunshine so could not really make out the shambles which unfolded in front of us.
  18. I've been very pleasantly surprised. The absolute key has been an evolution on our playing style. We have not jettisoned the very effective, quick counter-attacking play, but somehow we have managed to combine it with more possession and neat short and mid-range passing. I am not sure if Iborra's emergence is partly why we are playing so much better vice versa. I'm a happy boy. Top 8 looks totally achievable.
  19. It says a lot that many of those posting are listing those we should sell, rather than identifying some gaping hole in the squad. In the longer term, we'll need another CB and RB, but I don't feel there is any urgency. My "thoughts and prayers" are with Mahrez staying a Fox.
  20. Forget "I told you so's", it was just an absolutely cracking performance from Amartey. It's clear that the current and previous regimes have seen something in him. It's going to be hard for him to get a regular run in the team, unless Simpson gets injured. I'd rather see him in defence than midfield.
  21. I really don't get how anyone could think we should pick Gray ahead of Mahrez.
  22. Savage, who I loved as a player, but never rated as a pundit, is dead to me. Proven himself to be a complete tw*t. I will also never forget the rubbish spouted by Ian Wright, Martin Keown and Graeme Souness. Tossers one and all.
  23. I thought Amarty was really excellent at RB. He also impressed me going forward. He's a very good player. He starts for me on Sunday at RB or CB with Morgan. Huth should be dropped.
