  1. You make a very valid point there my friend. I totally agree.. Let's hope Cooper's media documented past track record with bringing youth into the fold is true and is adopted.
  2. I understand what you are saying.my friend, and to a degree I share your frustration... But at a guess, due to our current " money spending restrictions," if we have a few options available in the squad, who due to their versatility can play as a 10 when required, then a RW two weeks later due to someone gaining an injury or drop off in form then it kind of makes sense... Like it or not we have to be careful financially due to the well documented 'off field antics', of the incompetent fooktards running the club and getting it evidently so wrong, so as a byproduct we aren't as attractive as we once were. So an element of beggars can't be choosers springs to mind here..
  3. I don't believe you.. We need video evidence, of the goal and from at least 4 different camera angles... Nothing less.🤪
  4. I vaguely remember us doing this before. Extended game time with unlimited subs..l quite like it, as everyone potentially gets a bit of miles in the legs.
  5. I know....it's great isn't it 😁
  6. I don't believe you.. We need video evidence, for all 3 goals and from at least 4 different camera angles... Nothing less.🤪
  7. Totally agree. I've posted numerous times, in various past subjects that we were a far better team when not adopting EnzoBall or less off it. The players looked far more comfortable, as "Anti-EnzoBall" suited their natural abilities better, we were more fluid, and infinitely more entertaining to watch.
  8. Simple..start booing as you take your seat. Have rest at half time, then stop booing and you leave the ground. That way you cover all booing opportunities..
  9. I agree with regards to Rodgers in the past, but not Cooper. Go back and look at my posts.
  10. Ooooh. Touched a nerve, Grow up.. You an a number of others have already written the poor guy off before the team has even kicked a ball in anger in a Pre-season friendly. Give him a chance at least. ** (** That was a suggestion not an instruction...I don't want you getting any more upset)
  11. Don't watch it then if you're that disillusioned with it all. No one is forcing you.
  12. I'll see your point bud. But his ceiling is the Championship. The step up in class next season will expose all his weaknesses.
  13. Only if Cooper is stupid enough to actually play him. Enzo wanted him in for his passing. Cooper may see differently and require something different from his defenders.
  14. Welcome Steve. Happy and willing to give him a chance (we owe him the same courtesy and chance as we did for Enzo who was an inexperienced manager) and definitely not jumping aboard the "Cooper Hate Bus" If he's allowed as Top quoted on the official site to "implement a dynamic style of play" and not subject us to another form of EnzoBall, with the squad we have, IMO it will suit them better ....and you just never know, we may be OK come May 2025.
  15. From a selfish point of view I hope not, as I want to see the back of possession based, boring as hell, snooze in the stands football style ASAP. From a football point of view I still hope not, as I still maintain that the current squad deep down is not really suited to it. "But, but we won the league playing it last season"...yes in the championship, where the opposition's so poor over all it acts as a cushion and covers up the systems shortfall that will be hideously exposed in the vastly superior Premiership if we continue to play in that mold. Enzo himself identified that even at championship level it needed investment to really work. Now multiply that same thinking and scenario by 'god knows what' of investment for it to work come August... something we currently can't and realistically never have been able to supply.
  16. 1000% agree with every word, and it mirrors my stance and past posts as well.
  17. I think much the same as you and @Aus Fox. Initially it was Corberan for me, but the more I think of it, I think Cooper's style suits our current crop of players and budget better, (I've posted before I think our team played better when EnzoBall was "ignored" and we can't finance 'the style' at present anyway) and I get the feeling that Potter would have been more of the same as Enzo but less sexy and with hair, so its Cooper for me, as any move away from Possession based football is a major thumb's up from my side
  18. Well said . I'm on the same bus as you mate.
  19. Rodgers doesn't need Coopers help at all on that front.
  20. Why do you say that? We just don't know what's going to happen. His time at Forest, which you maybe (just a guess and feel free to correct) and others are judging him on was a barmy time to say the least, with the owners player purchasing antics, and guess what he coped. Give him the same chance as we did with Enzo, an inexperienced manager we took a punt on. We own him that at least before sl@gging him off.
  21. No. Not me. I'm not anti-Cooper at all. His time at Forest is totally different to what it may be like if he is installed as our manager. A loony of an Forest owner who was buying players for fun, of which he had no input, then being expected to keep them all happy, motivated and engaged and get the best out of them. At least with our financial restrictions the players come pre-season will hopefully be pretty much as is. Yes there may be a few in's and and out's but not to the same magnitude as his Forest tenure. At least the team should be settled to a degree. I'm willing to give him a chance before hounding him, the situation at Forest wasn't "normal" and he coped. Let's give him the courtesy of Pre-season before judging. Our squad my just click with him and it works, but on the same token he could stink the place out. To many variables, We just don't know.
  22. Well if his style is polar opposite to EnzoBall, then it's definitely a plus mark from me. Recounting last seasons games I must admit the games I enjoyed the most were the ones Enzo must of hated. They there the ones where an element of control by EnzoBall appeared to be less evident and we well, went for it a bit more. Personally I think the style suited the team better, they looked more comfortable, it was a damn sight more entertaining....oh and we won with significant score lines.. don't give up hope fokes, you never know, being coached by a manager who like to play the way we had our most success' in matches last season may not be all bad.
