  1. I don't underatand why he has just dived into his goal and not even thrown his hands at their second. If he was stood upright and steps to his right he probably simply catches it. He is a total bomb scare. When he charged at Nelson in 2nd half when Nelson was in complete control and wanted to nod it back to him. He gets all the basics so wrong.
  2. We have been so poor in this regard for a number of years apart from a short while under Cooper.
  3. I have never seen even a glimmer that he is any good at all, for the wages he earns, the transfer fee we paid, he is the worst signing in our history. He makes Ahmed Musa look like Messi, he gets a bit off a pass from a few because he plays in the right spirit, with a smile on his face. The fact that we have a manager, coaching staff and10 other players on the pitch who thought it would be a good idea for him to take that penalty yesterday tells you all you need to know about this football club and where we are at. We completely deserve to be where we are, we still consider the charitable, 'Give it to Daka it'll do wonders for his confidence' angle, less than 2 months after we did the same to try and boost Ayew's confidence, it is mind-numbingly brain dead however you look at it. At 3-0 yeah give it the lad who needs a boost, but at 0-0 in a crucial game, he should of been nowhere near it!
  4. by what measurable?
  5. get mavididi off the pitch, shocking performance.
  6. you can't tell me a winger had a good game in a 1-3 home defeat, where we had 2 shots on target, created no big chances, and put 2 crosses into the box in open play...
  7. Is there anything more frustrating than watching Mavididi attempt anything remotely useful...
  8. Watching him play for Leeds and looking competent, interested, actually quite decent, and being rated by their fans tells you all you need to know about the culture of our club at the moment. A really decent lower Prem level player who was on cruise control here stinking the place out. Good business getting what we did for him with 12 months left on his contract but really highlights the wider issues in our club that he is doing well at a much higher level.
  9. One thing that absolutely dumbfounds me is the absolute reliance of 4 at the back, 3 in midfield (in a one defensive 2 box to box or 2 defensive and 1 attacking), 2 wingers, 1 forward... ... we have done this exclusively for years, under numerous managers, with our defensive frailties not a single manager has thought, this shape is not working, lets give 3 at the back a try (or maybe 2 up front).... and I know that we probably haven't got the personnel for that, but at this point continuing to do the same thing and staring down the barrel of another relegation and the actual abyss. Why not try something a little different.... Take Saturday for example, losing at home 1-3 to a side that is 0-12 on aggregate in their previous 4 games, we are chasing the game, we ultimately finish the game with 4 defenders, 3 midfielders, 2 wingers and 1 forward.... we even put square pegs in round holes to accomodate it, the obsession is really strange.
  10. Why is the Director's Box first row always empty when the Chairman is not in attendance. Now I can understand why Vichai's seat is always left empty and indeed Aiyawatt's seat is left empty when he is playing polo. But why is the whole front row of the Director's Box then left empty in Aiyawatt's absence. It just stinks to me, looks horrendous on the TV. Are the other Director's not capable or worthy of sitting a row in front? Does Aiyawatt demand this as a show of respect? The optics just look awful to me, I know we have bigger problems but the culture of the club is just all wrong from top down. Surely no other club does this?
  11. How can a manager come in and not see the leadership problems in this squad and not change the captain or vice captain. Not that we are awash with candidates. Changing the culture starts with captains. How Okoli, Ayew, Stolarczyk, Mavididi, Choudhury are continuing to be given minutes is just beyond me at this point.
  12. He tackled well and recovered from mistakes, in possession he is just absolutely awful. Wasteful, lazy, lax... just stolen a living on good money for years. How has he got the armband too, disgrace.
  13. The scariest part of this is this remark: "Leading our Senior Leadership Team, Kevin and Jon bring more than 45 years of combined organisational knowledge to their roles and a deep understanding of the Club’s culture and traditions." So, during the biggest downturn in affairs on and off the field in the clubs history. The men in charge of the purse strings and the football team are being promoted. This is now beyond parody. I am absolutely dumbstruck by this approach! Culture. What a word. Anyone with even the smallest percentage of any of their basic senses can see the culture is rotten throughout. This is yet more evidence of more back slapping and being blind to the truth. I think this is the death knell of this great football club. Today should be seen as the beginning of the end. We are sleepwalking to oblivion and if we don't get these sycophantic charlatans out of this football club we will fall out of existence. On a less serious but nonetheless important note, the commerical director whose served for a hated far-eastern owner at other clubs is yet more evidence of the insular parasitic leadership. The technical director is taking some chance on this all working out. I cannot fathom why you would leave Man City to come here, even for a promotion. No issues solved, no internal reflection of where did it all go wrong? Just doubling down on the broken model and effectively putting that broken model on steroids. Madness.
  14. Fingers crossed this useless mercenery is now as far away from Rowett's plans as can be. Pathetic tonight. With someome more lively up front we may of nicked that.
  15. Aiyawatt's gone and really f**ked it up! Really f**ked it up! Really f**ked it up! (Yellow Submarine) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- You're killing our club You're killing our club King Power You're killing our club ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wages at 110% of turnover, you'll never sing that! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- F**k off Jon Rudkin, Oh what can it mean to a brown nosing b**tard and a s**t football team! (Sleepy Jean)
  16. He's just crap. Add him to the list.
  17. The bloke is poison. Yet we pander around him as fans and the club. We should publicly shame him, a manager with b*ll*cks would say. Yes he is the highest earner in the squad and his attitude is disgusting. Unless his attitude changes he will not be playing for the club.
  18. Picking up a wage for another 18 months.
  19. Keep picking merceneries. They will keep letting you down. Braindead to go in for that challenge. Clear red.... then laughing and joking on the way off. Another one here semi-retired. Picking up a pension boost. I hope he never plays for us again.
  20. Honourable mention for Marton Fulop RIP. Was brilliant for a short while and the biggest standout keeper we had from Ian Walker leaving to probably Kasper coming.
  21. Have a day off! He's so bad!
  22. It's been pretty obvious for a number of years (since we moved to the £100m 5 star hotel and health and wellness spa at Seagrave, ironically) that we haven't been anywhere near it fitness wise. We are outran and out-desired by every team we play. Steve Cooper had them fit and running for the short time he was here. If he stayed it may of gone a long way to having a chance of actually staying up. I distinctly remember Dean Smith commenting on it when he arrived too. It comes down to culture, leadership and desire... and we have none.
  23. Puel - the bloke thought Demarai Gray was a better option up front than Jamie Vardy. On this alone, he should be recognised how poor he actually was. Rodgers - bottled top 4 twice, won FA Cup in mostly empty stadiums, built the current toxic, egotisical, spineless squad we are currently struggling to dismantle. All on mega money! What exactly has been made up?
  24. He needs to go. That much is clear. However the bigger issue is the fact that the Owner and Director of Football can't select anyone noteworthy. This goes back through all of the King Power years in all honesty. If you look through every appointment they've made, apart from realising the mistake in sacking Pearson the first time and bringing him back, every other appointment has been a questionable... Sven - big name disaster Ranieri - Lucky pick (probably only got the job because Vichai was a Chelsea fan) and long term fell apart Shakespeare - picked with emotion attached, good number 2s don't always make great number 1s. Puel - Boring, painful, egotisical Rodgers - self-obsessed, image obsessed, took too much control and dismantled successful recruitment for his own ends, the real beginning on the current decline Smith - Bad choice considering others who could of done better short term at that time, could of been OK if given 3 more games. Maresca - selfishlessly sold himself to the first highest bidder - only ever going to be short term. Cooper - Doomed to start with, cheap option, too hasty to sack RvN - poor, out of his depth, unproven Marti - cheap, out of his depth, clueless We hear alot about aura, great interviews, the people in charge of our football club seemingly always get the wool pulled over their eyes by snake oil salesmen. Either that or Rudkin is that paranoid about being outed as the fraud he is he scuppers any decent appointment in favour of poor ones so his authority remains unquestioned.
