  1. The summer window was the one we had to get right, but the threat of a points deduction hindered that. There's a slim chance we might find an inspirational, unwanted re-tread similar to Huth this January, but I don't see many decent players lobbying their agent to get them a move here at this moment.
  2. Window closes 3rd Feb.
  3. Of course you'd always like to upgrade, but we've kept 1 clean sheet in 20 league games. We've got far bigger issues to sort out before we even get round to Mavididi.
  4. Exactly. If that Newcastle goal is not a goal then neither is our winner in the FA Cup Final because the ball hit Perez's hand to give us possession.
  5. That's ok though as we won't be seeing the PL again for the foreseeable after this season.
  6. Carry-On. 5/10. About 90 minutes in I suddenly realised Sid James and Bernard Breslaw weren't going to make an appearance. Very disappointed.
  7. I think 33 points will be needed. So 6 wins and a draw, or 5 wins and 4 draws. Not impossible, but highly unlikely imo.
  8. Think it's that Cannon might be recalled and sold to either Luton or Sheff Wed, and that we're still interested in Lindelof and Collyer from Man Utd.
  9. He got Ayew right. Maybe he got lucky.
  10. Akinbiyi. Btw check out the state of our squad. How on earth did we win?
  11. I don't think we've got the minerals required to grind out an away win (except at woeful Southampton if the ref gives us a little assistance). And Villa are still pretty formidable at home (they have the 4th best home record). Everything points to a routine Villa win. But I guess that's why they play the games, right?
  12. Yes, it's all opinions really. The facts are that Barkley needs exactly 101 yards or more against his old team the Giants next week to break Eric Dickerson's single season record of 2105 rushing yards. I think he'll do it.
  13. 2023/24 accounts need to be submitted by close of play tomorrow. Premier League will publish any PSR violations by Jan 13th. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/32537828/chelsea-leicester-everton-nottingham-forest-psr-deadline/
  14. True. But that makes it an even more impressive feat, no? Everyone on defense knew he was getting the ball but they still couldn't stop him.
  15. Really not a bad player at all, but he'd be massively overpriced like Skipp, just by virtue of being English.
  16. Good spot. I've just looked it up and the window coming up closes on Monday 3rd Feb.
  17. Well that's a stupid rule. But thanks for clearing it up anyway.
  18. Yeah but we've clearly got no intention of playing him again so might as well send him back now.
  19. 1st Feb - After missing out on all their targets in the transfer window Leicester City Football Club are pleased to announce the re-signing of free agent and former fan favourite Daniel Amartey on a 4½ year contract...
  20. Surely a loan can be cancelled at any time if all parties involved agree - why wait until the window opens?
  21. As much of a **** as he was, OJ's 2003 yards in 1973, in what was then only a 14 game season, will for me remain the gold standard of rushing seasons.
  22. 2nd goal too. He's just standing there with his thumb up his arse (along with Kristiansen) watching Haaland nod it in, instead of making a challenge. On the ball he's improving no end. But these lapses in concentration are killing us almost every game he plays.
  23. We're a bunch of halfway no-marks.
  24. Crominal stiff indeed.
  25. He's very underwhelming. But he did lay a great chance on for Vardy which should've been buried.
