  1. What has been nice is seeing players enjoy the celebrations with family. Coady has posted a lot of pictures of his kids with the trophy and medals. Some of them may never win anything again in their careers
  2. Controversial? £45m is robbery, absolutely snap their hands off before they change their mind.
  3. Should absolutely be onto this. 26yr old, give him a 3/4 year deal and amortise that at £4/5m a year.
  4. Surprised at this, very good player when in his stride
  5. Nothing Wilf has said feels like a goodbye in contrast Nacho/Albrighton was the complete opposite
  6. Touched on this already, but we had an army of stewards and emails/constant words of threatening of bans/jail if we even attempted to pitch invade. Saints home game felt like a big joint celebration between fans and players, Preston was the party. Yesterday felt more of a procession that we were just there to watch rather than be involved in.
  7. Stupid thing is if they offered fans the option of both for a fee, you'd have less backlash. They'd get people to trial out their e ticket system but keep their card and more would likely make the move over
  8. Considering many of us were worried how he'd fit in, if he'd stay fit all season etc he's been a revelation. Brilliant performances all year, a key man in making the side tick
  9. Ideally exactly that, just felt for those in other areas. I sit in the kop, so seeing the celebrations down our end was brilliant, just a shame similar didn't happen around the ground Not digging out at all, many parts do clear out, it's shite to see. But there are large sections that remain to the end, would've just been nice for them to have had their moment celebrating with the team.
  10. Listening to a Plymouth fan on 606 overjoyed to be remaining in the league and having another shot at progressing is great to listen to
  11. Large numbers stand supporting for the entire game/after the game in other areas of the ground. Love the players showing their thanks to the corner for their loud support with the trophy etc, that's great to see but don't like the suggestion other areas aren't as dedicated in supporting.
  12. Fully agree with your first point. Should've been just the players for a lap with the trophy, then by all means have all the families come out for pictures etc. Think your last comment is a touch unfair.
  13. Times like today you sit there and genuinely have to ask yourselves why the club make it so hard for things like this to happen. IK they wouldn't want any help from the club, but no reason the club can't facilitate tifos happening. Incredible display by the lads as always. Noticed the club had a "straight back up" flag thing that seemed to go into the family stand and then disappear pretty quickly.
  14. Other clubs allow atmosphere to build, ours destroys it
  15. Bit of a shame his time here has ended in a whimper. Today summed his time up fairly well. Attempting to dink the keeper from far right of the box and painfully slicing it. He never kicked on as much as we expected with the ability he clearly has. That covid year where he almost single handedly dragged us into the cup final and up the league will always be special.
  16. Loved the trophy lift and the celebrations in the corner. But felt the rest of the trophy celebrating a bit sparse, loved previous years where the team walks around parading the trophy rather than them all separating pretty much straight away
  17. How wasn't that given on pitch?
  18. The "£25, you're having a laugh" chant was brilliant stuff
  19. Loved the noise the man got, brilliant reception.
  20. Birmingham fans must be absolutely fuming at the running of the club
  21. Felt a generally flat occasion. Pre game town was great, the atmosphere around the pubs was brilliant. Then we kicked off and had very little about us as a side and the stands was the same.
  22. The amount of stewards lining the pitch was hilarious
  23. You'd really hope so. You'd hope they'd sit him down, show him how the system plays, how in name he's a LCB, but with the freedom and ability to attack, advance play etc and do all the roles a traditional LB does. The signing of Mads may help if they get along well. A consideration could be the treatment of Vestergaard by Rodgers wouldn't exactly have helped him settle in.
  24. Would love for him to be given a role in some capacity. Whether that's as a coach or behind the scenes
  25. This is a pretty damming listen.
