It’s good to know normal people follow England abroad!!
-
Schiphol is v good
-
Yeh did that get deleted? Bloody thought police on here. Difference being you weren’t at the matches where you were judging football fans, or the Notting Hill carnival. You were reading clickbait from bots on Facebook. I’ve been to three tournaments with England. They are followed by a lot of freaks

Jealous. I was meant to go on a cheap Eurostar in October. Got too much work to do so canned it. Love drinking in Belgium and Holland, techno music and >6%+ lager as standard
-
Yep defo. Would be worth watching England just to see the happy clappers and mouth breathers that follow them getting beaten up by the sheriffs and troopers
-
Plenty of $60 tickets available, I got through on the first lottery for Visa card holders. As usual the media will paint the most dramatic story. But yeh no getting away from the fact it will be expensive, the USA just is so expensive. Great fun though

Last min spare ticket for tonight. £45. Dm if anyone wants it, can meet at mattioli

We went on a Friday night just before Covid. Remember drinking quite a lot in that big Wetherspoons. Was a pitiful 1-0 defeat I think. It’s a good day out

Yep, I have seen Uzbek play in Tashkent, decent side, well organised
-
Wow, didn't realise. Madagascar v Uzbek in San Fran would be INSANE

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread

Ok so we’re in agreement. If you don’t want tech and want the greatest game ever you have no right to complain about human error decisions like the ref made on Saturday. It was never a pen on Saturday, and for the right decision to occur would’ve needed a 5 min break to get there. I wonder if you’ll be saying the same thing if an entirely justifiable, but incorrect, decision from the ref stops us winning the playoff final… -

Agree with everything you’re saying. My point remains that it is an entirely fair and understandable human error in real time from the ref. And that’s why the technology exists so that these human errors don’t need to happen. -

Exactly. So if you want to get rid of human errors, bring in the technology. Happy clappers want ‘real’ football, so accept decisions like yesterday’s are part of the game. Just like they were in the 80s when football was unbelievably simply incredibly amazing and REAL -

I like many others saw him flying in and thought ‘penalty’. Fair decision to make. The happy clappers have stated that ‘var is a shambles mates it’s killing modern football mate’ - well stfu and deal with it then. Mistakes happen when you hate tech and want to live in the stone ages. -

That was an enjoyable watch. No complaints at all with the pen, why is Faes launching in there? And the happy clappers have designated ‘VAR is killing modern football mate’ so I can’t understand the problem with the ref giving that. Goals very well taken -
Rank The Below Sporting Events

Champions league final and Monaco gp are obviously missing from the list -
I agree. Top ranked teams based on regional competitions like the nations league. Or a champions league type qualifying format. But this would be against the backdrop of huge resistance to change from the happy clappers. I am not sure how many happy clappers follow England but I assume it is a large proportion.
-
If they can be even a bit bothered they'll win that game 5-0. Pointless and symptomatic of football being dead. They need to change the qualifying process, England playing 8 pointless games and inevitably qualifying is a waste of time for all. Although any change will provoke complete meltdown from the happy clappers, it needs to happen.
-
F4ck sake this post has prompted me to realise it's internationals for the next two weeks. Pointless, modern football is dead, just disband internationals outside of tournaments.
-
I enjoyed the champions league last season, the format works well. There is clearly jeopardy as you want to finish in the top 8, the middle 16 carries risk as Man City found out last season. That leads to very good matches like Barca v PSG last night were both teams want to win. In the group format, they'd be happy to draw both games against each other knowing they'd smash the other teams in their group and be guaranteed to qualify for the next round.

They’ll recover nowt but it’ll be a sweet gig for the liquidator plus really good for their CV and creds
