Why the hell are MY TAXES going towards injections for lazy and fat people who cannot be arsed to lose weight, and in ten years time when these people have obviously misused the drugs and are riddled with pancreatic disease, MY TAXES will be going to their care again. We should be wasting the money on fat camps instead!

The licence fee is largely voluntary at this stage, just don't pay it if it bothers good souls like your mum. This is free markets, the power lies with the people.

I think happy clapper refers to those types who spend at least an hour a day on social media telling people 'they're done with the club mate the club is s shambles mate' but are still far more informed about the club than someone like me who considers myself an ardent fan. Either way it's a very funny term.

iPhone 5 will be fine. Waste of time both attempting to download the pass. Everyone has old phones in their cupboards, download the ticket onto a phone and pass the phone along as you would a plastic ticket. QR code screenshot used to work, not sure if it will this season, although I'd be amazed if it didn't.

The women's tournament has been fun, I've only watched highlights but still enjoyable. But it is technically and physically nowhere near the men's game. Not even in a similar stratosphere.

Very glad i didn’t happy clap out of this. What an incredible week in Jordan. The scenery of wadi rum, the craziness of the dead sea and obvs the sheer beauty of Petra. People were incredibly welcoming, good food, v safe for women. No tourists due to the ongoing hostilities. To have Petra to ourselves for over an hour on weds morning was unforgettable. I really hope tourists return, the country and its people richly deserve it

Hahah I do actually feel my viewpoints get more extreme after being on this forum, reading what's posted, then going back to normal. But no you've not read what I've written and/or not been able to understand it. The point of this thread is to talk about what you're investing in. And happy clappers on this forum can pump up whatever the hell they want, if they think they are qualified enough to do their own research. My concern was 'happy clappers LIKE IN THIS THREAD' pumping up assets they do not know what the hell are about, and then incurring the inevitable. I work for a firm with a significant private client arm, and this will inevitably reflect badly in the industry when dumb money does what dumb money does.
