  1. Chelsea in Kazakhstan today, very jealous of that. The ultimate trip. I recall we could have drawn a Kazakh side in the round that we eventually played Randers in.
  2. Unbelievably I was just thinking this. An estate agent just asked me for a review for some work they did. The work was rolling forward a document and changing a name and date. And being charged £180 for the pleasure. What kind of review do you expect for that?!?!
  3. I'd say >66% of games have gone to general sale this season, Wolves currently on general. Edit - home games that is, all away games have sold out so far] Edit edit - sorry Wolves isn't, I'll alter my percentage to about 53%
  4. Yeh I thought he was still employed by Chelsea and any new employer would have to pay out his contract
  5. Yeh but domestic broadcasters are the ones that hold the current slots. If it was up to global broadcast, we'd have a sport like boxing where we wouldn't see kickoffs until midnight.

  7. I love it, watched our game at 2pm then Spurs v Chelsea at 430pm with the F1 on the second screen on Sunday. Great way to spend an afternoon when buildings were shaking in the wind outside. I think to stop all this nonsense people need to 'cut the cord' and switch to IPTV and protest vocally whilst at matches. Dunno how much of an effect boycotting stadiums will have.
  8. This was really good, listened to it when it first came out. I keep an eye on this podcast because they have a lot of F1 people on it
  9. Good idea in theory but unfortunately people are more interested in saying 'games gone mate ticket office shambles' on the internet than taking action. And I absolutely do not want my face in the public so cannot launch a campaign like UFS and foxes trust reform so excellently do
  10. Crazy, I’ve got this from lie sports website
  11. On the sly sports website too
  12. That’s showing Monday 3 feb for me?? Real shame that as last time at Goodison
  13. I did for Blackburn away last year when they moved it to Friday night then Sunday midday. Think I ended up with some sort of voucher after sending small claims court summons. My argument being ‘subject to change’ was not appropriately defined, could they change the ko time one hour before advertised ko and lean on the ‘subject to change’ clause???
  14. Every pub in the highlands. Otherwise boisdale Canary Wharf, black rock and bull in a China shop in London
  15. Kept an eye on it. For some reason I check leuven scores every week, habit from when the takeover occurred
  16. Go on the leuven! Match weirdly on at the pub I’m at
  17. No chance, they are too stupid, petty and rich to do anything together. For example they have just contracted separate shipping companies to run the services to the islands, despite this being more expensive and unreliable than the existing joint contract. All because of a falling out.
  18. Jersey fa vase game at Whitstable called off last night as no plane is coming on or off the island today Lol. I think jersey should play every cup game away. They have to pay all costs for travelling teams, but it’s still a lot of disruption for teams to come here other than financial
  19. On paper I defo agree with you but this is the game of their generation. Form book goes out the window and other such cliches may apply
  20. Defo will help them more. They have 5 fit defenders, first choice keeper and Jota injured and Mcallister suspended. After a v tough run including being run around at newcastle on weds. You don’t wanna go to a pumping goodison in driving wind and rain after they’ve just had a big home win. This is a big boost for Liverpool. The Stoke set piece coach and Pep would love a free weekend in this fixture pileup to work with their players
  21. Just buy fragrances from here instead of faffing about trying to get a few quid back on a cash back site- https://www.jubileescents.co.uk/?srsltid=AfmBOoqxmAqtCuSLXll3aLQUGiuwbJT96CrEBFkSLLBf-3avxEXsDhar Cheapest and easiest
  22. Context : HR email - each floor will get a tree to decorate communally, everybody have fun in this office activity!! On my floor there is my dept and said other dept who are very gobby, all been at the firm pretty much their whole careers and none likely to ever leave. There are some 'big' personalities who involve themselves in lots of office politics, organise all the socials and generally know all the goss. They are loud and like to take control. That said they are friendly. The person who's taken offence at king Vardy is a few years older than me, also front office and same level in the hierarchy as me. I would take it as a given that we can all decorate the tree as and when we wish, but they have organised a mandatory decoration session tomorrow. Edit - 'supports' Arsenal nut never been to an Arsenal match
  23. British etiquette but fortunately a legislative wild west and free for all (Jersey)
  24. The gob came over with the Vardy picture, gave it to me, and actually said I need to get my decoration approved by her. This is British etiquette to the next level. I will keep sticking the picture up obvs, but figured the real way to annoy them all is to remove their decorations.
  25. We have a communal Xmas tree per floor at my office, for everyone to decorate. On my floor there is my dept and a friendly but v gobby dept. I keep putting a picture of Vardy up on one of the lower branches, and someone keeps taking it down. I keep printing and putting another one up. One of the gobs came over and in the British manner of I'm-actually-annoyed-at-you-but-will-come-across-jokingly-to-avoid-conflict said to stop putting his pic up. In the same manner I said It's a communal tree and I am taking up a tiny part of it, so what's the problem, I don't need to get my decoration approved? So I guess we will keep playing this game until xmas. Sometimes the American way of having a massive argument over a trivial issue is easier.
