  1. Bluesky breaching rules around disclosure of information, says EU
  2. Also confused. My tickets for Brighton have sold, but tickets for West Ham aren't even listed on the site. Both games are available on general sale.
  3. @Elsie Effcee - you surely have to be an AI chatbot in testing. Your threads are crazy. Now I've engaged in one of them, will I be targeted for dumb money scams?
  4. More looking forward to the season after (2026) as Monaco has moved to the first weekend of June so it won’t clash with the football season and I can plan to go! Yes yes I know we’ll already be relegated by the last day so it won’t matter anyway
  5. Walking back through town after a quick beer after the match. Had an itch to scratch so bought a big choc bar from Tesco. Continue down granby st and there’s a huge Xmas market full of awesome smelling snacks but I’ve had 200g of Tesco milk chocolate!!! Never seen this market before but I’ll have a look when back for Xmas, looked great
  6. I guess it would be. I went to matches there on Tues and weds night. But I did a tour at river plate. It’s a cool city, you should go.
  7. A few popped up on the website
  8. Nice. San lorenzo had a derby match on Sunday but I was pushing my luck with two matches as it is so didn’t float the idea. Not one for planning to go back to a city but I would do a dedicated football trip to BA, if already elsewhere in South America. There are 18 grounds in the city
  9. Boca stadium was a great sight, very steep so all the noise travels downwards. Lots of colour and flares. The ‘dangerous barrios’ surrounding the stadium is a myth, there are loads of tourists at every game, no safety issues. Argentina match was moved away from the river plate stadium so could only do a tour there. It’s huge
  10. Good week in Buenos Aires, lots to do. Friendly people, calm city but with a buzz of activity. Enjoyed it
  11. Sorry to hear that mate and best of luck to you with all of this. Keep your head up and I hope to keep reading about your travels with Nuneaton in the non league thread. I’ve googled a few places due to your posts on where you’ve been with boro, so I’m relying on you to continue pls
  12. Ohhhh ok understood. I thought you were saying they should be able to gift it free of any taxes.
  13. The people gaining the asset have paid for nothing with no money. They’ve gained an asset for free. If it were that easy to say ‘I’ve bought this asset with MY money which I’VE paid tax on I’d be selling many assets to many ‘dependants’ and not paying a penny of CGT on them. If the parents were really bothered, they’d sign over the land to their kids well before the 7 year anniversary and pay zero IHT
  14. Well no, which is similar with other land based assets. Housing being one. A £700k flat isn’t valued at its ability to generate profit. If farmers are that bothered they should sign over their land and hope to live 7 years. Or wrap up the land in a structure. Both of which prob easier steps than the incessant whining they are currently undertaking
  15. Current or future billionaires that you are willingly handing your info would be mad to ‘own’ anything. That’s what offshore trusts are for. If you’re bothered about influencing society, get involved in the democracy that you live in instead of wasting time on social media
  16. Hahaha mate cmon, you think you’re helping improve society by handing a billionaire your personal data and engaging in debate with people he hand picks for you…. If they shouldn’t exist, stop fuelling them. Very simple. You’re actively choosing to by hypocritical
  17. Surely only a matter of time before we designate Jack Dorsey as evil. I like reading @ozleicester posts and his colourful way of describing all billionaires as evil. Why then willingly hand an evil billionaire your money and the ability to play with all your personal data. Baffling
  18. Swapping one billionaire owned social media influencing toy for another.
  19. Gone through a lot of bad ones but the ones I use now for every matter are first class
  20. Stop using cheap suburban high st solicitors
  21. Yeh exactly. It’s plainly obvious he has no interest in Twitter reporting YoY profits according to US GAAP standards Lol
  22. Rich people don’t buy media outlets to turn an accounting profit. He’s influenced the US election to positively benefit his business interests, that means the acquisition has already paid off
  23. Yep, the education system doesn’t teach you how to deal with money. 25% of uk adults have less than £100 to their name. 33% live month to month and couldn’t afford a sudden one off bill like a broken boiler. At that point you’re not living, you’re just existing
  24. Would be barking mad if they had no mtg on the corporate structure that owned said house. Debt is a great tax offset if your wealth is tied up in assets. Best off living off of loans rather than income
  25. Most of our matchday fans don’t want to use transferable phone tickets. I doubt they’ve seen a commercially agreed post on a social media site. I’d say the club are detached from the core fanbase by using technology at all
