  1. Massive cashback offers on for Amex referrals up to end of Jan, PM for link
  2. No amount of bawling on social media will make up for the fact you are responsible for some of that profit. There is a quite simple solution to this, don't withdraw cash. You have no valid reason to use cash other than dodging taxes.
  3. They absolutely won’t be disappointed with that. Long time since west Ham have been to the den. This surely has to be Sunday midday ko!!
  4. Highly ironic you use 'assume' in your post given you've clearly learned that during your mental gymnastics training. My point - beating Fleetwood 3-0 will not breathe fresh life into our season and/or precipitate a winning run, as shown by Tranmere. What you think my point is - going out early is beneficial to the team. Mental gymnastics. Work it out if you are able.
  5. More mental gymnastics. What you describe above is not what I said. You have simply made this point up during your session in the mental gymnastics world championships
  6. They aren't going to lose 3-0 to Fleetwood at home. Mental gymnastics.
  7. As per my post above, mental gymnastics to justify doing bad things by the writer. Instead of all this gumph, the gymnast should just say he's ok with abuses of power, but selective in who he condones doing them. That's fine and shows the writer is human
  8. The system may be messed up but that does not mean you have to abuse it. Especially when we've been subjected to years of 'they go low we go high #keeppushing #democracy #standards #wego' meme type cringe from AOC et al. Imagine if Mandela, MLK, Rosa Parks or any other of history's greatest people had the flimsy backbone of the democrats. The mental gymnastics which has led to the attitude of - well they do bad things and we can't stop them doing bad things so we might as well do bad things so that's fine. Mental gymnastics to justify doing bad things is not cool.
  9. Yeh defo. The idea of replays is out of date anyway for all but a unique number of ties. For every Harborough v Reading you've got about 17 Cambridge v Grimsby matches infront of 200 people and reserve players. As good as a Papa Johns trophy match at that stage. They should set up a solidarity/insert marketing gimmick name here fund whereby non-league teams get loads of money from the cup revenues, instead of having to earn it with another pointless match.
  10. “No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter’s cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son — and that is wrong,” Joe Biden said. Wow – that is just as deranged and twisted as orangeman himself. Need to do some serious mental gymnastics to condone this from sleepy Joe
  11. The gunnersbury outside the tube station was good, really diverse keg line up, one cask.
  12. I can't imagine a second string beating Fleetwood 3-0 in front of 19k at the KP would breathe fresh life around the training ground. The win against Tranmere earlier this season did nothing.
  13. Doncaster away
  14. They’re not good football players are clearly aren’t prepared well enough or fit enough for this elite level. That doesn’t mean they’re spoiled or entitled
  15. Went yday, very good
  16. The bell in Liverpool st delivers again. Good few winter soul cask ales, time passed quick
  17. Delighted that the assisted bill has passed, first step towards ingrained religious belief that death is the worst possible that can happen being overridden. But more delighted in this being a free vote, and the population haven’t been so stupid as to be swayed into a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ side and can see the nuance with both arguments. Not seen one person use ‘mental gymnastics’ in this debate thank god
  18. £39 in A1. Strangely enough around a few hours after Pinfox posted this thread and the Brighton thread, my two tickets for each match sold after I had listed them ages ago! Good lad Pinfox, doing my marketing for me.
  19. Yeh it is mad. When I worked in the US they used to play 'guess how much this medical service costs' with me all the time. Crazy prices. Not barbaric to them though, the country is a big business and that's how they like it.
  20. Lol you sound exactly like David from compliance in this post. Rule book over face-smackingly obvious reality in that part of the office.
  21. That's sad, used to walk through the market on my way to work every morning at around 7.30am just as the market was shutting. Also after midweek beers post midnight and used to have a look through the stalls. A cool place full of history. No idea what other cultures have to do with it closing, it is absolute prime central London real estate. Owners will knock it down and build luxury flats for mugs to rent at £3000 pcm or office space.
  22. Lol, you don't have to go to next Tuesday's match, right?
  23. Jersey bulls 1-1 at 81 mins last night, and 3-2 down in 91 mins. Final score, 4-3 win. They have been unbeaten for ages now. The new manager and ex-con striker being bought back in has proved a real difference.
  24. Completely agree. I’ve been to some the Christmas markets that people solely travel to, for reasons I don’t even know. Birmingham, Munich, Vienna. All overhyped. Although winter wonderland in London is class. Leicester looked and smelled great! Didn’t know about the Diwali funding tho
