  1. Ah remember you commenting on the bulls a while back. Yeh Croydon won, bulls missed a pen. Will be same again for jersey next season. Be in and amongst it all season then a team will find some extra funding and storm through the playoffs. You got some players in this league on £600 a week. Tbf the bulls players are in the uk every fortnight so can make a stack of cash flogging duty free booze and cigs to their contacts upon return
  2. Getting on the pitch was fun v Doncaster in 2014, but the trophy presentation was amazing in 2016, would not swap that moment for anything, will be forever seared into my mind. Given the presentation was largely average on Saturday, I would have preferred being on the pitch
  3. I got no further info on what they class as a disability to avoid the £25 tax
  4. Yeh I do HIIT twice a week. Three women in their 60s run rings around everyone else, incredible fitness. It's working for me as I play racketball but I am not good at racketball, however I am fitter than almost all of the club members but they are all technically better. So taking each rally long and playing at a quick pace is the only way I can win matches. Not sure about strength building though.
  5. Monaco and Nice. Bottle of some kind of mass produced bubbles at Le Americain, Nikki Beach or Nobu, sit back and see the style. Two contrasting choices though, Algarve is full of old sitting around people reading paper books and 'recharging' whereas French Riviera is a bit more glitz and glam??
  6. I'm not defending anyone as I am a mere 'man on the Clapham omnibus' so obvs don't know the real world reality of what both sets of owners do. But the Hollywood Wrexham super dudes are actors, their entire life's work and objective is to create positive branding and image. Which has worked on you and I guess multiple others, but I'd be hard pressed to believe they care about the supporters and have done everything to a tee. They are making bucket loads of money and creating huge marketing opportunities for their other business interests. If that stops, their 'care' for Wrexham will suffer the same fate as the King prawn tiger noodles I had last night. Down a pipe the next morning and long forgotten
  7. How far the British empire has fallen. Used to be brits taking over foreign assets and assuming all the locals were delighted for them to bless their land with their presence. Now a Thai family selling toblerones and their hangers-on have conquered our pitch. Blame it on sunak!!!
  8. Speechlessly good. Away fans must look at our displays and be in awe
  9. Yeh I didn’t get one on matchday v Everton. Bought one a few weeks later. Although I’m not sure why, not opened that or the season review dvd since. I guess these things are for decades down the line. Will keep an eye out and buy one if they reprint Saturdays issue
  10. You’re getting old and maybe started reading the daily mail
  11. Villa and spurs are absolute light years ahead of us lol. Ollie Watkins is a killer. But yeh on paper perhaps not. I guess going for it next year is in the plan Lol
  12. Stormzy and zahas team afc Croydon beat jersey bulls in the playoff semis, and one more game to join Farnham in promotion
  13. Amazing, unspeakably stunning effort for the display. What a standout effort to make that by hand. Simply outstanding. I’m running out of superlatives to describe it and how impressed I am. Superb
  14. What is a 'registered disability' ?? Can you get a depression sick note and use that to avoid the £25 fee?
  15. Forest and Liverpool have, as far as I thought, got on given they will forever be intrinsically linked by what happened in 1989. Get where you're coming from re Spurs and they should never be counted as a rival. But clubs like Liverpool, Spurs and Leeds will always attract malign from every fan base, forever. That might spread to Newcastle soon if they start winning trophies. And Wrexham if they climb the leagues under the super cool super dudes
  16. Novo hit big numbers of their Wegovy sales, they state they are signing up 25,000 new users A WEEK in the USA. Incredible. Share price dipped as sales below forecast which is great for buying. I have never bought into any hype, crypto is not serious, tech bull run will run out, gold will eventually lose steam - but with the fat people drugs, I am struggling to find a future scandal or end of hype event. All the drugs do is suppress your hunger lol, no affect on kids anxiety etc etc. There will be an upward slope into perpetuity of fat and lazy people to buy these drugs, and prices will surely steadily go up as competition levels out in the coming years.
  17. Finally a gear ground as a result of others gears being ground by nonsense. People make media soundbites to line their own pockets, don't listen to it, certainly don't get annoyed by it!! The yank is in the market to skim as much money as possible from his fellow yanks via pointless pre season games, that's OK.
  18. Yeh from idiots like this… Good on you mate, you’re always gonna be far better off in what really matters in life than the cretins such as the above
  19. Terrible terrible football. Strikers worse than Ade Akinbyi. Midfielders as fit as Daniel lambert. Centre backs weaker than the milkybar kid
  20. Ibiza opening parties
  21. 27%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guesses: 1. Pension plan provider 2. Pension consultant 3. Pension advisor
  22. An old rule is to invest 100 - minus your age as a percentage in assets. Tbh these days 110 is probably more accurate. Not just pensions, any assets inc housing/cash etc. I totally get the huge tax efficiency angle and employer contribution positives of a company pension, but I do not contribute anymore than the minimum that gets me the max employer contribution. Whilst younger I can do some riskier things (not fcking BTC or Nvidia)
  23. Interesting rule, never heard of that one! Only rules I have come across are: invest 100 - your age as a percentage (e.g the 35 year old in question would invest 65% of all cash coming in) and have £3k a month cash in retirement for 30 years of retired life is prob prudent. Obvs now that £3k figure is going to need to stretch.
