  1. AFCON starts 13-Jan so we should be alright. And the week before that is the FA Cup game anyway. So hopefully Vards is back for the Cov game on the 13th
  2. Pre match press conference should be this afternoon
  3. Good news. Wonder if he’ll get a loan second half of the year now (providing he recovers from whatever injury he currently has)? 6 months at a decent L1 club would be good for his development.
  4. Yeh agreed, just not sure if Enzo will throw him in from the start. But can hopefully come on for Fatawu and get 30 mins or so against Rotherham, before then starting against Cardiff was the thought process
  5. Draw this weekend for me. Cumulative 4 points dropped, rather than 3, across 2 of our promotion rivals is better for us imo
  6. Have to rotate with 4 games in 10 days. Shame the likes of Yunus, McAteer and Praet haven’t been fit as this would have been a good game to rotate them. Hopefully Yunus and Praet are fit enough for the bench, and can then start against Cardiff in a week. Ideally everyone gets at least 1 game off over the next 10 days. Vs Rotherham Hermansen Souttar - Coady - Justin Hamza - Winks Fatawu - Casadei - KDH - Mavididi Cannon Vs Ipswich - Strongest Team Vs Cardiff Hermansen Coady - Vestergaard - Doyle?/ Faes Ricardo - Hamza Yunus - Ndidi - Praet - Mavididi Cannon Vs Huddersfield - Strongest Team again
  7. Blokes made out of play doh. could do with Praet, McAteer and Yunus recovering pretty sharpish, otherwise we have very little cover for Ndidi or Fatawu come January
  8. Surely Leeds/ Southamptons figures should be the same given they’re both on 42pts from 22 games?
  9. Based on this 115 pts guarantees automatic promotion. So we can drop 12 points, so lose 4 games
  10. Buzzing with this!!! In case anyone wants to watch the promo video again. And we’ve got the Eon site as well now! http://www.lcfc.com/tv/2212978/lcfc-unveils-vision-for-king-power-stadium--surrounding-area
  11. I must admit there is definitely a part of me that wants Vardy to play, score and knee slide in front of Wazza. Chief Rustler. But another part of me thinks it would be better if he wasn’t there, and it’s treated as a normal game not a spectacle ie. Wagatha Christie II. We should have too much to beat Brum as it is, don’t want something silly like that getting their fans riled up and making Brum play better, and adding pressure to our team.
  12. Tbh I think against teams in the top half, Wilf would probably be the right choice still due to his athleticism and pressing. But would be good to have a slightly more attacking option for him to rotate with, basically what Casadei should have been.
  13. JJ. Very few are as quick as Walker, but I’d say JJ is still pretty rapid, and quick enough to keep up with Wingers/ strikers on the counter. Obviously he’s not perfectly suited to the LB/ LCB position due to not being left footed, although I think he’s still done pretty reasonably there. Alternative would be for him to play RB/ RCB with Ricky inverting from the left, but not sure that would suit Ricky as much… Ricardo - Winks Doyle - Vestergaard - Justin Hermansen
  14. Touch of the Riyad’s about him in an attacking sense, can go either way. But what’s really impressive is the defensive shift he puts in, and pretty decent in the air to boot. Seriously this lad has it all.
  15. Agree with this. Has been pointed out a few times since the Plym game. But the difference between Patson and Vardy/ Kel this season is the intensity. When Vardy/ Kel have dropped deep, and then spun to use the space they’ve created it’s not been with any urgency. Whereas Daka is always looking to move into the space, with pace. As was highlighted at the start of the season based on stats. Daka is best of the three at pressing from the front, and made a couple of good challenges last night working back. But he also has electric pace. Never understood the questions about whether he is that quick?! He might not be as quick with the ball at his feet. But his pace in behind, especially at this level terrifies defenders and creates more space for the 8’s and wingers. Hopefully, he continues to get a chance, and continues to impress.
  16. Wouldn’t start Vardy or Iheanacho even if fit, stick with Pato up top. Vs Brum Hermansen Faes - Vestergaard - Justin Ricardo - Winks Fatawu - Ndidi - KDH - Mavididi Daka Vs Rovrum Hermansen Faes - Coady - Justin Hamza - Winks Akgun - Praet - KDH - Mavididi Cannon
  17. Wonder if he might make the first team squad more if Fatawu goes away for AFCON, especially with Wilf & Kelechi also away. Would leave us with the below, without accounting for injuries/ suspensions. Only Souttar missing out based on the below, although he could be off anyway Hermansen Faes - Vestergaard - Justin Ricardo - Winks McAteer - Praet - KDH - Mavididi Vardy Stolarczyk / Coady / Doyle / Hamza / Casadei / Albrighton / Yunus / Alves / Cannon
  18. Would he be our first Brazilian?
  19. Think Alves looked better when he moved to the left. Carries the ball very well, like a young Jack Grealish
  20. Admittedly only watched since we conceded, but think we’ve looked decent. Controlled the possession and much better to see us trying to emulate the first team, with players in the proper positions ie. Maswanise out left rather than isolated up top. Imagine it will be great for Braybrooke and the team when he’s fit to slot straight in.
  21. Can see Enzo’s affect. Wormleighton playing as an inverted RB
  22. No Caden Voice in the Wolves ranks fortunately
  23. Young Wormleighton Godsmark-Ford Nelson Wilson Brown Raikhy Cover Alves Richards Popov Maswanise
  24. Only question is we’ve already got Casadei who’s struggling for game time. Unless he’s going back the other way…
