I imagine 50k was his premier league salary. So assuming a 30/40% reduction per relegation, he is likely on around 20/25k per week now. Which is still a ridiculous salary in L1. Hence why we need to try and shift as many higher earners as possible

Cifuentes really ****** us in this regard. Playing Faes instead of Nelson at the start of last season ruined any chances of getting him signed up to a contract extension.

I find it strange how prominently he has appeared in all pre season content, kit launch etc especially if the club suspected he could be on his way out

I just can’t see us shifting enough to need this many incomings, or being able to afford it. You’d certainly hope a few more will leave if we can get rid of Jannik and Victor.
