My mates don’t rate him after last season
-
I wish someone did
-
Honestly I wish we just sold him to Bologna. He’s such a boring LB, not great at attacking, okay in defending but feels like this is his ceiling already.
-
These are no mugs. Silva is a great manager
-
Justin our best defender? You’re having a laugh
-
No he doesn’t. Mavididi is great defensively where has this myth come from?
-
I’ve got faith we’re getting this bad boy, print the shirts boys

at least on the bench. he's clearly got the ability from those clips against pro players! -
you should see the look on their faces though!
-
can't imagine any of them are on obscene wages though.
-
good signing for them. building a super team. why didn't they back De Zerbi like this, especially with them in Europe?

get a goalscorer in and we're staying up -
ffs as if the training ground is getting the blame and not the people running the club and the ground! do we think Man City train in the local park?
-
I can see mavididi being dropped at the start but certainly not fatawu
-
Ultimately we needed an attacking player that can play in multiple positions across the front line and isn’t gonna be fussy about not starting
-
Ric with the greatest of respect it is a different time in football now, prem teams pay premiums to other prem teams.
-
I’ve calmed down and realise whilst this signing isn’t sexy it’s probably necessary in terms of filling the squad but also with our ultimate goal of staying up he brings a skillset and experience we need. yes he’s not the right side of 30 but players are looking after themselves nowadays. He’s not Wayne Rooney where at the age of 32 he can’t run or play the same as before, he’s pretty consistent
-
Well I did slate Nixon and said he’s normally wrong about us. I’m a bit sad he was right for once

this is the problem with the game now. Chelsea will be on the phone to his agent now if they weren't already before this game -
Tbf Barca had a team full of midgets and did alright, and we do now have an Argentine

forest have apparently bid for Santiago Gimenez, someone we were linked with before and have scouted. 25m euros bid rejected though so maybe to expensive for us? vs. Forwards Statistic Per 90 Percentile Non-Penalty Goals 0.85 99 npxG: Non-Penalty xG 0.77 99 Shots Total 4.05 95 Assists 0.26 93 xAG: Exp. I do sometimes wonder if people realise how good he actually is. Not many wingers have the energy to defend solidly for 90 minutes whilst offering a huge attacking threat; and he has the output to match! I pray we haven’t got a release clause in his contract!

Love to see it. A low block. its not rocket science, we don’t have the quickest centre backs but playing this system means they don’t have run back 90% of the game like headless chickens and have the other players in and around them to track back and regain our defensive shape. we will get caught out a few times by a rapid striker, but keep the faith in these two.
