I take this point, there's something annoying about a spare Saturday and always playing Sunday. But there are advantages to knowing when the games will be and i like that. Also from a travelling point of view, if the flights work out there's a chance of taking 2 days off work and getting a trip somewhere that goes Wednesday night to Sunday, and in the Europa the opposition are less bothered about limiting the number of away fans so there's a chance of getting a huge allocation somewhere along the line.

Absolutely gutted after last night, it’s out of our hands and we are probably done for. If we beat Spurs and don’t qualify then I’m just not having the “bottling” / “thrown it away” narrative, we’d have been very consistent in the points we’d picked up all season and have had a superb record against the Greedy six. Liverpool and Chelsea have been on League winning form in the last quarter of the season and that looks like it will have just done for us.

Gutted Perez missed that chance. Would have been amazing. Thought first penalty chance Chelsea unlucky but penalty they did get was bull. Overall tough game, Chelsea turned up and so did their fans, unlike the final.

Making Cl football vital to the model is Ridsdale style thinking. If those running the club were thinking that then we are set up for disaster. They aren’t and we aren’t. Given the position we got ourselves in it became vital to get either the cup win or the top 4 so as not to get that Spursy bottling gene into our make up. We’ve done that now! If we’d lost the cup final then I’d have been crapping myself about today, as it is I’m excited, a huge opportunity for another Champions League adventure.

Also don’t get me wrong, I’m massively massively up for tonight’s game, I just see it as an opportunity to seal the deal not a threat to our continued improvement.

Absolutely, if we miss out then it’s because of home losses to Fulham, Villa, West Ham, Everton, Newcastle, Arsenal and Leeds. How mental is it that we’re even in contention with that many home losses to that lot?!

It simply can’t be the defining moment. Because lose and it’s not all over, it’s just less likely. The defining moment would come against Spurs, if Liverpool manage to win both their games. And you are wrong, 4th or 5th this year is not some defining moment in the history of the club, it’s a nice to have, a cherry on the top of the cake, winning the FA cup and completing the set was the defining moment. I’ve read the argument that Youri stays with champions league. Why? Kante didn’t. Mahrez didn’t want to. If Youri puts another masterclass on and has a good euros then someone might come in for him. Equally due to Covid and the availability of Haaland and Kane it might be that whatever happens no one has the cash to buy any of our players. This is real life not Football manager.

I simply don’t believe anyone who says they’ve woken up more nervous today than cup final day. I’m excited, win and we’ve done it. If we draw then I will be nervous for the Spurs game, having it in our own hands on the last day and missing out again would be gutting. If we lose then I’ll get my disappointment out the way and just treat it as a bonus if Liverpool slip up.

Most people where i was (including me) were clapping. There definitely were some boos from within the Leicester sections but i thought the louder boos were from the Chelsea end, was about the only time i heard them all match.

If anyone was taking a lot of general shots and got one with the Clarendon branding on the advertising boards then can you either send it to them on their facebook page or drop me a message on here and send it to me for them? They've got one with the name and picture on the scoreboard, looking for one with it on pitchside boards.

Thank you all. Was an amazing day and so loud in our end. I didn’t know if I was imagining it, was really glad to get a message from my cousin during the game saying on tv you could only hear us. just shows those with the points can make noise, so no excuse for some of our quiet away ends we have sometimes! Watching it back, we won the atmosphere during Abide with me, every Leicester fan they showed completely full of emotion, scarves up and belting it out, all the Chelsea fans just stood around looking bored. I don’t think they had any mics tweaked, 6000 people is enough to make a lot of noise when everyone puts some effort in.

Yes, no look at the bus ticket. They put us in to pens and then it was pot luck if a bus turned up for your pen, ours took ages.

I came home to a thing from Royal Mail saying i’d had an item not delivered because the sender hadn’t paid sufficient postage. I’ll be interested to see if that’s my programme, can’t think of anything else I’ve got on order!

If you are thinking of black market tickets then i don't think the internet is the way to go on this one. I think get your lateral flow test done and results and then head down to Wembley on the day, there's always touts being pretty obvious, in my experience there's usually at least 20 between the station and Wembley way. I think a fair few of the 9000 neutral freebies will have made there way to a tout or will sell to a tout on their way to the ground. But.... I wouldn't do it. No back-up plan for if it doesn't work and involves having to wonder round London with stacks of cash.

I get this completely. Clearly it’s not done and if all the other results go against us then even a win and a loss or two draws won’t be enough for us. But if we were to fail, I think failing with 68 or 69 points would just be bad luck and Liverpool exerting their class over the end of the season. Whereas before last night missing out on 63 or 64 points would have been totally bottling it. I’d love to win the cup and get top 4 and I don’t care how much luck or how badly we play if we manage it. But if we don’t manage it then it’ll feel better if we’ve fired our shots.
