  1. One thing to remember with this is we were 14th on the actual goal difference table too. So it's not just about we should have scored more or conceded less, it's about bottling important games and not doing enough to actually get points on the board, essentially far too many 1 goal defeats. One of the saddest things in all of this is just how many teams with appalling goal difference we've let stay up ahead of us.
  2. Thank you, this is very informative (and to the post below too!) I think i'd let Mendy, Evans and Amartey go too, not interested in re-signing any of the current lot at this moment. Similarly Ndidi, Nacho and Choudhury i would let run their contracts down next season. The group with contracts from 2025-2028 need to get their heads around playing in the Championship. Yes some of them might be able to get a move, but we don't need to desperately sell them if offers are derisory. I would expect decent offers to come in for Barnes, Castagne and Justin but it's not certain.
  3. I think line up as either: 5-3-2 Iversen Castagne Faes Souttar Soyoncu VK Soumare Youri Madders Vardy Barnes or 4-4-2 Iversen Castagne Faes Soyoncu VK Madders Soumare Youri Barnes Vardy Daka
  4. I'm assuming they will wait until after FA cup semis to announce the GW37 fixtures now.
  5. Absolutely spot on Cosbeh and Voll Blau. I would also look at points rolling on a 3 year basis. With as Cosbeh says just a 20 point head start on non-members and a 10 point head start on members. I'm sure it used to work something like that years ago. The club essentially drew a line in the sand when we got promoted the last time and decided everyone that was a season ticket holder in the Championship deserved a leg-up and i think that was fair enough at the time, but those of us who have benefitted from that system for years and years have to acknowledge that it's past its time now.
  6. Did my survey. Pointed out that the best thing they can do to improve the atmosphere is win and draw more games and sack the unpopular manager. Raised a concern that it feels as though the club is attacking fans at the moment.
  7. Still not got mine in the post yet and trains looking impossible. Not a good start. I'd not looked at transport yet as assumed we had a good chance of getting through in the cup.
  8. Our record of 1 point from 30 available vs the top 10 must be the worst in the division. If you are giving yourself that level of mountain to climb then you are beyond doubt in a relegation scrap. Yes, some of the other sides look poorer but the lack of scrap in our side is greatly concerning. We are very lucky to be having a poor season at the same time that several other teams are but it's by no means a formality we stay up, we are going to have to improve.
  9. What concerns me is the January transfer window and long drawn out sagas involving our best players. We are only a few good results away from getting out of the danger zone at the moment and the table is very tight up to the top 5. But coming back from the break to Newcastle and Liverpool is a difficult start and the wheels could be very wobbly at a key time for matches vs Fulham, Forest and Brighton. Really important couple of away games now before the break as many others have said.
  10. Sounds like we are well on track for another Wolves 4 Leicester 3
  11. Still out, but enjoyed the win. Need another 5 or 6 from next 7 to change my mind.
  12. I assume the upper tier blocks aren't open yet rather than sold out? It's down to my level now but my mates not until tomorrow.
  13. Realistically no, but in theory yes he could win me back over. 6 wins in a row and he'd start to turn me back, but it's not going to happen.
  14. Hopefully the reason it's taking so long is we are going to actually try to properly sack him without a pay off for his gross misconduct comments about the owners rather than pay him off as is the football norm.
  15. Have Arsenal not just 'thrown it away' in a similar fashion to us? I think 4th place changes hands late in the season quite often over the years, there's a level of inconsistency outside of the top 2 or 3 every year that invites late runs for top 4 \ top 5 \ top 7.
  16. Ndidi and Maddison are 25, KDH is 23. All of them can improve areas of their game that haven't been their best and learn to play slightly different roles than they have done previously. I see that individual improvement aspect as the most important thing for all of them.
  17. I don't particularly care either way. If they come up then fine it'll be two more games with extra interest next year. If they don't then it'll be quite funny to watch them feel the pain.
  18. It's back on sale now
  19. Yep in terms of who needs the money most then Wasps would snap their hands off to have another tenant at the CBS. If they had to come to Leicester i'd rather they played at Welford Road than Filbert Way.
  20. Norwich (A), Man City (H), Brighton (A) for them. If we actually do our bit and win our games then it's really quite possible it comes down to the last weekend.
  21. I'm booked on the 23.05 back to Leicester from St. Pancras, would have been a much earlier night if the ones around 10.30 looked doable but i don't think they are.
  22. Could be some that would be more motivated to go if we are losing as less likely to need money for the final or more motivated to see what could be a last game in Europe for a while. Either way if the club are allowed to i'm sure they would sell more tickets if they kept the sales process open for longer.
  23. I meant cash flow for the fan buying the ticket as in wages being paid for a lot on Thursday or Friday. No idea about the club's income from it.
  24. This is a great question. I can't see any reason why tickets can't stay on sale until at least Noon on Friday to give people as much time as possible to decide depending on result of the first leg and as you say to get a bit more cash flow in, lots of reasons people will have to be unsure and very likely to sell a few hundred more. I think if we are in the lead or level and they put them back on sale on Friday then it would push a lot in to going for it.
