Fair point yet there's thousands of flats and buildings still with unsafe cladding and thousands of people stuck in homes that they can't sell due to leaseholders completely ignoring the issue.

I doubt he's looking at us thinking we're in a much better situation with potential psr penalties like points deductions, player embargo and rumoured major financial difficulties and an owner who has essentially been suffering from a mental breakdown over the last 3 years.

They're not a waste of money per se. They're a waste of money when the findings are ignored or not acted on. Eg. Leverson, blood scandals, post office scandal, Grenfell and I'm sure there's many others. Our lives and society would be immeasurably better if the findings and recommendations were put in place.

I'm not worried by all this news. The club isn't in terrible shape now and we probably just need a season or two of survival in the championship and not over spending and we'll like any other club. If in the meantime we can get a proper director of football in and replace some of the hierarchy within the club we might be able to look forward positively.
