One of my friends couldn't make it as was ill so someone else to their place. It was obvious it wasn't the same person so just told them when ticking off the name that the person was ill & no questions asked

Generally they stop for 45 mins at service station. Yesterday for Sunderland coaches left at 1, 45 min stop off and arrived at Stadium about 5.30 or so. So, 2 hours before kick off. I think they set off early to allow for road works etc

I purchased 3. Whenever I buy tickets whether it’s just for me, 2 or 3 it keeps saying I can’t have that selection as left 1 seat available. Today, I just chose ‘best available’ option in the end. It was easier

Got mine in B1. Frustrating when you try and get 1 ticket and it keeps telling you that you cant have that one because you will leave seats. Even when you see 3 tickets next to each other on 1 row, click on the seat at the end and it doesn't let you have it. Anyway, glad i got one in the end

I’ve had email about possible iD checks at Palace. What exactly can you use for iD? I don’t drive so don’t have a driving license and really don’t want to take my passport in case I lose it. I don’t have any kind of iD card as it’s years and years since been asked my age in a pub 😭. I guess I can find somewhere that does official iD cards but will they accept it

I know it’s still just over a week away but getting a bit nervous not had tickets yet. People in flat upstairs are dodgy and I don’t trust them. Anyone else waiting still

My postman only seems to turn up once a week. Hoping I don’t have to pick them up too. Meeting a friend who lives nearby to the ground for a drink or 10 & catch up before I go to the game. Don’t want to waste valuable time queuing at box office

I’ve seen comments about ‘middle aged women’. Not sure if it was here or Twitter. I’m a female in my 50s. Sit near the singing section. I sing along at home games. Away games I don’t take a flask, blanket or clapper with me. 😂 I stand up, sing, shout abuse when needed & I’m definitely a Brendan out. I join in celebrations with the young uns WHEN we score. Can’t people just respect each other. We are all in this together. If you’re in/out respect each others views without insults, fighting, spitting etc

I work with someone who claimed he played for Liverpool in his younger days. If Liverpool were playing an evening game he would say 'so & so (name drop an ex Liverpool Player) was picking him up after work to take him up to Anfield!!! He said he lived in a massive house but he didn't. Very strange. Then, in another job a girl had split up from her partner and said that he had hired people to kill her. I walked with her to Tesco in lunch break and she said a bloke behind us was her bodyguard. A lad joined our team and she told me that she found out he was working for her ex and trying to kill her. She told me that the police were going to come in and arrest her. In the end our boss had a word with her about her being in 'possible danger' and then she left. Very strange
