Maybe just watch the game rather than trying to divide the fan base? Just an idea... -

Ramsey out so need to go two up top Marti.... ......Or you know, none. -
Anything for a change at this point, just hope Marti is trying things out in training.
-
Time for 442 as 352 seems a little bit risque for us.
-
Vesty is a given, but Wout?
-
So he shouldn’t have taken the job knowing that these daft apeths are here? Imagine most clubs have some deadwood new managers would rather be without. Or even worse he was given the dreaded ‘assurances’….

Realistic Managerial Replacements

|If you played me up front if wouldn`t matter any manager said, I would still be terrible Yes the manager does the formation, tactics, transitions, its true and we would all like him to do more with what he has, but do we really think he can tell Daka to score or Ayew to stand up. Tough gig. -
Regarding the players, on paper they seem fine, but their effort in the face of adversity is shameful and this has been the case for quite some time. Of course, bottom line it’s Marti’s job (or whoever) to fix it, but this is a third attempt, and it’s not looking hopeful. Regarding your comment about the four clubs above us having new managers, it’s fair but isn’t that as much about those clubs and their structure, their ability to provide some degree of continuity between managers, the much mooted DoF type overseer? Not denying we are underwhelming as hell, but I would rather go for the long haul with someone and tough it out, culling the crap over several windows, rebuilding an ethos is hard work as we go, as I do not believe we are going to find another Enzo shaped bandage.
-
By squad you mean the names under contract at a club? Pretty sure teams are built over years not just thrown together of the best 25 players. It’s a stupid argument.
-
Not a comment on if Marti is the right man, but whoever it is, it’s going to take time. They have to be given time, think it took Pearson about 6+ months to offload a good chunk of the muck he inherited, and about a further 6 months to fully stamp his system onto the squad he built? Whoever it is, they surely get more than 12 games!!

Realistic Managerial Replacements

We are not resilient at all, it’s quite pathetic to see. If we are pressed, we struggle to remain our composure and we break down as any sort of unit. We see the kids come on and they are kids, sometimes good, sometimes not, it’s expected. But as always, those not playing are the answer where as what we need to the mentality to fight, the answer is not throwing it all in the bin now, but build this over time. -

Not disagreeing, but didn’t I see that we miss a ridiculous amount of chances recently posted? (Cannot recall when it was, maybe I dreamt it!) We are way off where we need to be, I sincerely hope we do not go up this season, and focus on improving our team with fighters as we currently have very few. I really miss KDH. -

Nah, that such a cop out. He does not put the ball in the net. Give over. -
It depends entirely on what a defender in this day and age should be expected to provide to the team.
-
Not sure why it’s surprising, as people generally don’t like change. And no I am not a poster on there before you ask.
-
Would agree, as much as we feel he has let us down, we have utterly failed him.
-
Imagine it is a couple of things He was never displacing Vardy to be the main man He is not much cop at this level

Some carbon copy I imagine and I actually doubt even Russel Martin would come here now, so far have we lost our way. -

No idea what we do from here. The signs of improvement are just not there and don’t think all the blame is on Marti, but it is only him who can start to move the needle, as the self policing is not a capability within this squad. -
Benkovic? Wasn`t he just injured so often he was deemed unreliable?

Disagree. Yes we have some good players with a good level of technical skills, but we are unable to work hard enough to make a complete performance.

Kind of the point. They don’t. You cannot play like you expect to be playing Luke every week, you have to work hard. Youth is showing why it needs the seniors, just as the seniors show why need the youth. The younger players all look like they trying to make a showreel, they mature and appreciate the discipline and effort required to succeed as a team. The senior pro’s need the youth to keep the tempo high, keep them fresh, keep them pushed and it’s all to the benefit of the whole team.
