Not sure who we’ll get in but surely especially defensively signings will be in by the time we face palace and Fulham at home. Those 2 are definitely winnable. But knowing us it’ll be the last week of January and by then too late.
-
I just don’t see this side keeping a clean sheet. I reckon 2-2.
-
He gives me Ryan Bertrand vibes. So obviously we’ll end up signing him.

Anyone else think he’ll walk at the end of the month when no decent signings have come in? -
Need to beat Palace and Fulham at home and get something at Villa.
-
I think Okali will come good. 25m for Skipp is daylight robbery. The fact we wouldn’t go for Corberan because of the compensation to pay but waste that amount on Skipp is shocking.
-
Yes but we got Ayew for about 8m……
-
We are better than Southampton and Ipswich. The problem is I’m struggling after that who we are better than.
-
I see Enzo doing what he did with us last season. Dropping points against poor opposition.

Fonseca sacked by AC Milan. Conceicao has replaced him. -

Gives me hope for the rest of the season. There’s enough winnable games left. My concern is whether we’ll play that well against sides at the bottom and mid table. -
Absolutely no chance of us keeping a clean sheet against these. I think another 3-1 defeat.
-
Southampton, Ipswich, Wolves, Everton, Palace, Fulham and Brentford. I can only see us winning 2 or 3 of those and maybe a couple of draws in there.

Yes we’ve picked 4 points up with him but I think a more experienced manager and we beat wolves. May not sound a lot but could end up being the difference of stopping up or not. January window will be crucial for us. -
Bounatte for Ayew second half. Still think we’ll lose but would like to see that early.

He’ll quit end of Jan when we only end up signing Matt Targett. -
Can’t fault Everton as much as I want to. 3 points picked up against Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal with only 1 goal conceded. Credit to them. Dread to think how many we’d concede in those 3 games.

Be interesting to see how Corberan does with Valencia. Would have been my pick here last summer. -

Agree. He wanted the sack and a pay off. -

Iversen and Soyuncu start the season we went down and we stop up comfortably. Instead we had the clowns Amartey and Ward starting 20+ games that season. -

The players just aren’t good enough for this level but his subs yesterday was a carbon copy of what Cooper would have done. Will be down to who we get in January. I wouldn’t be surprised if he quit if he doesn’t get who he wants. -

This appointment smacks of Sven, Hope I’m wrong but there are so many better options out there readily available with more managerial experience. -

I just think appointing Urs Fischer, Rudi Garcia, Roger Schmidt or Niko Kovac all with more managerial experience would have been the way to go imo. I wasn’t against appointing Ruud but I’m unsure he’s right for us. Seems very much as stated earlier that it’s a Sven type appointment. Hope I’m wrong. -
I think we will get a Pearsonesq rebuild unfortunately I can see a Holloway, Levein and Kelly time before that. If and it’s a big if we stop up who knows but 10 years+ of nothing if we go down. It’s between us wolves Ipswich and Southampton imo. Finish top of that 4 is the aim. I’m not confident doing it.
