He’s a decent player though for 10m. Was a regular starter for Milan for 3 seasons and just had a great season at Bologna playing with Kristianssen. I always try and remain balanced. I can see the reasons for people being apprehensive. On a personal level though, I think he could come good for us for multiple reasons. 10m is not a lot in todays market - especially if we can get around that for Kasey. We don’t know how we will set up under cooper yet, but he could fit the system if we are operating with wing backs or deeper wide players.
-
Bargain at that price. Can play literally anywhere down either flank iirc.
-
Could have been a bluff, we love a smoke screen. Top has quick word with Cooper before the press… Leicester are looking at the domestic markets. Then go out and snap up two prospects from Italy early doors and unsuspected.

Targett is not the standard though mate. Rather us go for a young lad as a back up LB.
-
Kasey plus money for Targett? No thanks. Rather keep Kasey and the money.
-
Quite like Kasey, but he isn’t prem standard right now. If a decent bid comes in of 15m+ I would take it as it helps us in the short term. Especially if Soule is coming in as we then have mavididi and Bobby on the left and Fatawu and soule on the right with wanya too. It would then soften the blow of the soule fee and allow us to strengthen elsewhere. Let’s be clear, we still need a striker, a central midfielder and a full back to have a complete squad. Obviously there are variables here - we have winks, ndidi and choudhury so the double pivot is covered. We also still have Soumare on the books, whether he would be used in the double pivot or more advanced remains to be seen. We are not too far away from where we need to be squad wise.

Feeling pretty mixed about this one tbh. The two reservations I have are the cost and his natural position. 30m is a serious wedge - I can’t help but think there are good alternatives that would cost a lot less - I’m sure Ric Flair would be able to tell us if there are, and who. He’s no doubt a decent player, but does seem a bit of a gamble, especially as he’s a winger that we look like we are signing to play down the middle. if we sign him to play down the middle and it doesn’t work, it then means one of him or Fatawu are on the bench - that would be criminal given our financial situation. Though one thought I did have, was that we may be planning for the future in that Fatawu may be sold in a year or so. If this lad can play centrally in the short term, we may then move him out wide when Fatawu gets sold for silly money, probably to Chelsea. a side note though, is if we are spunking 30m on players, and having signed what appears to be a starting Cb, why the hell have we offered vesty a 3 year deal? Honestly, supporting Leicester is bizarre. Our club seem to love to defy simple logic.

I am what I am mate😂 I just think the original’s line is the only decent adidas stuff.

Yeah but for those of us above a certain age it conjures up o’neill vibes. When I go to pick my youngest up from his mums I walk past a house with loads of 90s stickers in the windows, some of which say foxes never quit, and I have to say, I fxxxing love it!😂

Vote with your wallet lads. Three small tweaks and it would have been one of the best shirts ever. 1. Trefoil 2. Stripes all the way down the sleeves. 3. A decent/no sponsor.

Just got a question for those against this due to money, one season wonder, etc etc… Daka or Szmodics? I know who I’d pick. Framed that way makes it a little more interesting and takes the financial aspect out of it. If we sold Daka for £8-12 and then bought this lad for the same, our front line would look better.

Used to turn out class many years ago on FM😂

That might just be how he sounds though. At this point we don’t know what he’s like naturally. It was awkward though, in both videos. -
I’d take him for 8m. He would really suit us and where we are as a club. He’s not only scored loads this past season, he’s clearly hungry and has shown great character - all good attributes for a side favourites to go down.
-
Absolute no brainier. Free transfer, reasonable wages, we are desperate for central midfielders, gerrimin!!!!
-
Firstly, I’m not over the moon about this myself. But… We have two very good wingers. We have three strikers - one or two may go. We need cover out wide. We don’t need to replace our wingers with better because they are good and the money is best spent elsewhere. We don’t have any 10’s. Bobby can potentially play all of the above if required. So for versatility and cost it does make sense. I would have rather we have gone a different route, but I completely see the logic in this so can’t really hate on it. We are short of players and don’t have much money.
-
I’ve said before that I’d be more than happy for us to have a strong ish 11 and the squad players be kids. If that’s what we are going for then I’m backing it 100%. I think it’s logically the best option due to our circumstances. It means we have a decent team when all fit, and when not, we are blooding young talent. Know nothing about this kid but would put good money on him not being terrible.
-
The fact that he’s used us as an example is pretty laughable and just makes him look stupid. Leicester City gripped the sporting world not so long ago, certainly more recently than Man Utd won the league! Every neutral wanted us to win the league that year, every neutral was a Leicester fan. It was arguably the most exciting season the premier league has ever seen. If he’d have said forest and Ipswich he wouldn’t have looked quite as much of a numpty😂 That said, his whole notion is a load of b*ll*x

Something that always concerned me was that when we were bought, it was stated that alongside KP there was a mystery owner/party who would remain secret. This all then went quiet and to my knowledge never came out. Not long after, there was a documentary called “how to buy a football club” or something like that. And we were mentioned.
-
People were sceptical last year when we signed Pep Guardiola on Wish. The owners were encouraged by how it turned out, but heard that Ali Express has more accurate product descriptions so decided to go with them this time. Having pulled Rudkins browser history, he has been looking on there for Klopp, Xavi, Conte and Bielsa.

Still holding out for Corberan here! Potter wouldn’t be the worst pick - better than OGS, better than cooper. Potter has rejected us, would be expensive, and would carry on with the boring football. He would demand the earth in terms of transfer kitty too. Corberan for lots of reasons really. He’s hungry and young, and something a bit different. Sticking with a possession focussed game plan, but with quick attacks, low blocks/solid defending where necessary, mad cool ish to mix it up like long throws. He would be cheaper than Potter overall, and can work with next to nothing and with a low expectation. I am a bit gutted the Sarri links dried up and didn’t come to fruition, he would have been box office, and it would not have been boring, whilst again sticking with the playing ethos that the board wants. Anybody outside of those three can get in the canal, though I’d say copper would be a close fourth.
-
Neither. Needs more options.
-
Signing Potter to then have the FA buy him out of his contract might be a decent move!
-
The logical choice is to offer Kasper a contract if we sell Mads. Not many better keepers will want to come to us, he’s free, and his love for the club and leadership will prove vital this coming season.
-
It can’t be cooper. Surely Top can’t do that to us? We are going to stink the prem out this year!
