  1. Did we privately change our head of recruitment? Because I was under the impression we went through the ordeal we did in getting the one we wanted because he was the don when it came to bringing in top young talent at low prices. Or does he have dyscalculia? We have signed Bobby de Cordova Reid and now ayew. Last year we spent 10m on coady who can’t get in the side. We’ve also spent 25m on an overpriced spurs reject. They all need sacking, head of recruitment included.
  2. And we’ve spent 25m on a skipp. Absolute rudkin masterclass.
  3. He kept us in the game last night, it has to be said. We’d have been dead and buried by half time with ward in goal.
  4. What’s quite interesting is that multiple managers have attempted to replace him/phase him out. Some of the time it was under a different guise, such as “he’s too old to play every week” etc. Vards has always made that difficult for them because his ability and quality when needed has shone through. cooper comes in and is very clear that vardy is the main man at 37. Absolutely love it! One of our big mistakes as a club has been trying to play in a way that doesn’t suit our best player and arguably the biggest icon our club has ever had. He turned down big moves to stay here. Yes we pay him handsomely, but hate besides the point. He could have gone on to play champions league football every year and been payed much more. someone said on here a while ago that they travel, and wherever they go, when people find out they are from Leicester, the first thing they bring up is Jamie vardy.
  5. I’m with you on that. If we can play with that level of pashun and intensiteeeeee every week we won’t have the lowest points tally ever, and we have a good chance of staying up. Absolutely loved the flies on sh*t vibes from our highest players whilst being forced in to a low block. We haven’t seen that kind of hunger for a long time.
  6. I share this opinion. Decent squad player, that I think we can trust and rely on when we need to. Steady Eddie with a great attitude and work ethic - we need some of those.
  7. This lad is stealing a living. The sooner we can get him off the books the better.
  8. Pashun and intensiteeeeeeeeeee was there for all to see. Proper graft. Backs to the wall first half, tough watch at times, but we hung in there and stayed in the game. Second half we were brilliant. If we do that every week we will be ok lads.
  9. Absolutely buzzing for the lad. Proved a lot of people wrong last night. He isn’t Roberto Carlos, but nowhere near the terrible player people make him out to be. We could do a lot worse, and have done in the past, than have him at left back. As did most of the team, he did very well last night. Still would like us to bring in another left back though.
  10. Bobby D did will last night. The first half performance was part of the game plan. People will say we were awful, and to be honest, if you are taking it out of context then we were. But when you consider that the game plan was to sit back, soak it up, frustrate and keep it tight, get to half time, and we did well. Nobody was technically amazing in the first half, because that’s not the game we were playing at that point. I was really impressed with the defensive shift Bobby, Fatawu, Buonannotte put in. They were everywhere! Mavididi is by far a better player technically and going forward, buy Coops got it spot on in the first half, Mavididi didn’t fit in to the first half game plan.
  11. These antics will get the fans on board. We all love a shithouse, and it’s pretty normal to have a player or two who fits that bill. It looks here like we could also have a manager who is one too, which is a rarity, and to be honest, I quite like the idea of that.
  12. People already talking about his attacking output and how he had a good second half. He was immense in the first half. I sit in the east stand and he was relentless, as were a few others, but one of the stand out performers for us in the first half in my opinion.
  13. Or the kebab you wake up covered in, that’s all in the bed sheets and that.
  14. Agreed made. O’Hare as well at this point would have been a decent signing - yes many will disagree. I wasnt the biggest fan of the idea of us signing him either, but these names that nobody fancied would have been better than not signing anyone. The night is over, the lights have come on, and we need to find bodies quickly.
  15. BBC Sport Gossip claiming that Porto are favourites to sign him. Close thread. Nobody wants to join us.
  16. Na na na na na na na na na na na we want Rudkin out, rudkin out we want rudkin out na na na na na na na na na na na
  17. We will be down by then mate
  18. Not a sausage.
  19. This is exactly why we should have bought szmodics for 9/10m. Those who were/are against it need a reality check. i would take szmodics, chair and hamer right now, and it wouldn’t have been the worst window ever. We also missed out on lots of free transfers and good value deals early on, which we probably thought we were better than. Ryan Sessegnon for example - better than our other natural left backs and can also play on the wing.
  20. A country in the Middle East would be my pick. Or whoever has the biggest wallet. Any new owner with half a brain would send rudders packing straight away.
  21. It was a joke mate, in response to us being linked with loads of players in a short space of time.
  22. But he wouldn’t be earning his living here. He works for a Turkish club who are simply allowing him to play football for us for a season.
  23. Its a bit of a strange situation. im not in anyway an expert in this area, so im probably wrong, but my understanding is that his employer is outside the uk and thats who’s paying him and who he is employed by. He is not and won’t be employed by anyone in the uk. So I don’t see why he has to pay uk tax.
  24. He needs a better accountant. There are creative ways of making this problem go away, or at least minimising it I am sure.
