Park the bus 3 DMs no Ricardo. So predictable. Hard to see him lasting
-
I think we will learn alot today, the FFP decision should have them extra motivated, shackles are off. If we set up with a team of defenders and no ricardo again, he isn't going to last long. I normally think the express and the sun are very unreliable, but the ricardo nonsense makes me think theres some truth to player unrest, it's so bizarre and I can't imagine the players are happy with his treatment.
-
Enjoy him while we can, he's better than Raya, Onana, all 58 of chelseas goal keepers. Won't be long before they come knocking.
-
As in he had his head turned by another team? Or someone (cooper) said he isnt wanted?
-
Huge red flag for me. It's now out of spite from cooper. I can make peace with the fact he wants a more atheltic full back to defend, but when we are chasing a game like we have every bloody week, it's a no brainer to get a more creative outlet on. Doesn't sit right with me at all, wreaks of a weak manager out of his depth trying to stamp some miss guided authority on the squad. You see it happen alot with fraudulent managers.
-
He shouldn't need telling this as a professional manager. Mind boggling. Between terrible team selection and not changing a game early enough, hes been the main difference between a few more points already. I guess that's what you get with sub standard managers like him. Just have to hope he can learn his lessons.
-
If Cooper could get out of our way, we have a chance
-
Learn your lesson and stop being a coward. Hes cost us in all 3 games. Poor start and set up against spurs. Didn't react and go for it against Fulham. Started the most brain dead defensive team possible against villa. The only positive I can give is we have been in every game and they could of gone another way if he would learn lessons.

That's why you don't play a negative team of defenders. Let's turn this around properly now -

This is all on Cooper and is terrible team selection and lack of subs so far. We've been well in it but didn't have the personal to execute -

Thats the difference, one manager saw what was needed the other didn't react quick enough -

Who knew playing 3 DMs would mean we couldn't really create. Fairly sure we said the same in pre season against Lens. -

Ndidi is jekyll and Hyde, so important for tackles and blocking, but kills any kind of progressive move instantly. -

My assumption is keep it 0-0 for aslong as possible and see if we can nick it with fresh legs. I just hate it when managers play down the squad they have especially at home. Gutted for mavididi he's barely going to get a game all season he's now behind x2 defensive wingers. -

On paper it's a shambolic negative team selection. Lets hope he has a cunning plan because that looks like a team that won't cross the halfway line and are playing for a 0-0 -

I think this team selection is going to tell us alot about cooper. There are quite a few combinations he could go with, some are so devoid of creativity but full of runners...anything like that would worry me alot. For instance winks, ndidi, skipp, ayew, bdr. We might not cross the halfway line. -
Yes, but I dont think hes had it all his own way. Ayew and BDR were 100% coopers wet dreams, potentially skipp aswell as his thirst for premier league experience at all costs was unquenchable. I think we have taken some from Glover and some from Cooper and kind of botched it all together. Certainly given ourselves a chance at staying up if Cooper can make it work that's the main thing.
-
It is, but no one wanted him, that Saudi deal was done ages ago in principle and I think he held on fully expecting a chelsea or arsenal to come in for him, but none of them wanted him. Have to assume it's character issues especially since the gambling. So he had to take the payday at his age, can't blame him really, I certainly don't think it was his preference.
-
A mixed bag of a window for me. We've done some bizarre stuff like okoli and Ayew. Over spent in areas we didn't desperately need which lead to us having to cheap out in priority areas. Failed again to move the dead wood out. But signed some nice young exciting talent in BEK and Skipp. Given ourselves some squad depth, and most importantly for me we have given ourselves a fighting chance. It's up to cooper now to put it all together and find a way to win, I believe the squad is capable of staying up (minus ridiculous psr deductions) Oh and another positive got lots of young talent out on loan!

"Big Ben's here" Cancel the loan. -
I think Edouard is probably the best we could do given its deadline day and we have no money left. It's been a mixed bag of a window, certainly some good signings. I think my biggest issue is we clearly had money to spend as we have spent, but I would say getting in a proper goal scorer was the most important thing and should of been prioritised and we've focused our money and attention in other areas leaving us scrambling on the last day to find a cheap option. I'm thankful we have found something because having nothing would be worse, but its been another window where mistakes have been made....and we still can't shift soumare haha

That Rudkin fluff piece was a pretty desperate attempt to get let in to the club.
