  1. I think those defending him are saying how can that manager perform when the owners of the company cant provide him with the tools to fix and maintain the machine or has a recruitment policy that only employees zoo animals to operate the production line. I think much like cooper he's a manager out of his depth, but set up to fail by the incompetence above him, so moving him on doesn't solve the problem, you bring in the next fool to try and make it work. I'm not fussed whether he goes or not, until we we see a change in our entire footballing direction it's just next man up to fail. Just realised this is about rudkin and not RVN.....oh its been a long day. Yes I am with you 😅
  2. Cheers pal, I hadn't considered this very probably nightmare.
  3. It's a collective effort, one hes been a constant in for a very long time. There's 2 ways to cut it up, either he has no role what so ever and it's completely up to the scouting team, which means he/his role is completely pointless or he has an active role in approving and negotiating transfers, which there's a long list of failures against, either way he's not up to it. It's not just him but he's a constant central figure in a long long list of poor decisions.
  4. Wow! That's a terrible decision. Wolves 2 in 2 games. Shambles.
  5. 4 subs at halftime, when you've had a shocker and are only 1 down. Does this emery guy know what's he's doing? 🤪
  6. This is very fair, JJ is a lovely guy, very honest and always gives you 100% its just unfortunate, whether injury related or not, he's just not good enough at this level. I think overall though it just shows you where the squad is at, a combination of players who don't really care, an amateur manager who is out of his depth and hasn't been given what he was promised. Just a mess of a season, was almost pointless getting promoted, we've shot ourselves in the foot at every turn.
  7. We've got 2 more seasons of him and vestergaard. 1 of those with Ayew aswell. Can't wait.
  8. Ahhh yes sorry, I'm with you. Agreed, I just think the job is too big for him and he's questioning everything he thought about management. Was always the biggest risk, allowing a manager to learn on the job in a relegation battle is never a smart move.
  9. Hes very emotional, as you can see from him walking out on PSV and I think as the month has dragged on and no reinforcements have come in hes just given up. I was quite reliably told that he'd had a falling out about it all and wanted out before the spurs game, was convinced to stay on and we came out fighting, but then another week of broken promises... I should add that was before the national newspapers were reporting it 😅 haha
  10. Had a couple of everton supporting friends drop me a message to say why were the fans chanting sack the board all game, and who is Rudkin? Haha
  11. I think hes likely to walk, the job is too big for him. To be fair given the absolute disaster of a summer we had it was probably too big for anyone, especially given the lack of support he or any new manager has been given, trying to do it with a disinterested squad that he didn't pick, half of them are already on to their agents saying get me out in the summer please. It can't go on ultimately. All I would say is aim the anger at the right place, the decisions this club have made over the last few years have been atrocious to say the least.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me if he's just chucked it all in and given up. You won't give me players to help so I won't bother.
  13. Hes absolutely raging about all the criticism he's been getting. Hopefully the away end give him and Top an absolute pelting. Sleepwalking into another relegation
  14. It reminds me of one of those wenger games where he used to just ignore how the opposition play and set up accordingly and just say we will be too good. Brighton got exactly what they deserved today, couldn't of played more into forest hands.
  15. Hinshelwood is having an absolute shocker as the anchor in midfield. As soon as you go 1 down against forest you are in trouble, they can't chase a game but they will exploit you if you do what brighton are doing and playing kamikaze football
  16. Gaslighting at its finest, 10 years ago things were good so you can't question the previous 3 or 4 shit shows including PSR mismanagement saved by a loopholes. We've also now had tanner, percy, collomosse all write reports that say managers are frustrated with our ponderous outdated approach to recruitment. Even the fans at Leuven have said their biggest fault with KP is their reluctance to move at pace. Top level football has moved beyond the way we operate.
  17. Given previous windows and the amount of storied leaked left and right about how slow, ponderous and out of touch with the modern game our recruitment is....I'm not that surprised. Ha
  18. I'm expecting 1 attacking winger/striker and that's it, we will go with what we've got.
  19. Yeah, a few things at play, the deal is too good from a PSR point of view, means they can have far more financial flexibility in the future and also from what I have read/heard he is a bit of a nightmare to manage off the field, and mix that in with it seems like it's him or watkins to start most games. But yes I think PSR and having 50m in profit in the books when you already have watkins is the main thing.
  20. 20m I think, so 57m profit because of the hype. Not that I think hes a bad player but he's hardly proven himself yet.
  21. Would be weird to sign him and coulibaly...but I guess you can switch JJ to left back where he prefers to play..
  22. Given we have limited funds and limited squad space in the 25, this one just doesn't make any sense at all. Just have to hope it's an agent trying to create links and get him out of Besiktas because he's unhappy.
  23. Not sure if its really being suggested or not but if it is, it's needlessly bringing their nationality into the conversation. I'm not saying this is the intention, but it could be interpreted as we dont want Top because hes from Thailand or insinuating being from Thailand is the reason hes a bad owner etc. It just adds an unnecessary target without adding anything to the argument. Like I say not suggesting that is the intention, but don't be surprised by how easy these things can get spun and credibility gets lost. 👍
  24. 100% moyes ball, with the limited quality they have, they will try and bully us, have to be up for a fight.
  25. If there's one thing I hope today does is stop the weird pining for one of the worst managers we've ever had. RVN still has a lot to prove but at worst he's the same as Cooper.
