  1. It's quite sad that when VAR came in we all thought it be the end of the "unconscious" bias given towards big teams for decisions. (Man United didn't have a penalty given against them at old trafford in 6 years in the 90s) But the way they have allowed themselves to re-referee and cowardly hide behind the umpires call bullshit they spin this season has actually made it a double down for the bigger teams. It reaffirms that control and if there is any conspiracy against us from the Premier League then it's sure as hell made easier by a few blokes being able to give what they want watching it on a monitor. The whole things such a disgrace and it is one of many destroying football.
  2. The west stand would give a standing ovation to Peter Taylor for the time he had us top of the Premier League in October.
  3. You could pretty much say no one else cares about any topic we discuss on here. We ****ing care. Don't care about anyone else.
  4. Yeah it absolutely was. Scrolling through the archives to try and find something even worse as a way to justify it or taking about what Leicester used to be. It's exactly the attitude that allowed it all to unfold. The Leicester we were in 2001 with Akinbiyi and Lee Marshall doesn't in anyway represent the team in 2022. I don't know why this is used as some kind of excuse. Oh we've always been shit so who cares kind of attitude. We had a massive chance to establish ourselves and had even more chances to do something about what was happening before it was too late, and never did. But oh well little Leicester, should just be grateful for that title win shouldn't we?
  5. I'd rather see more accountability when the most embarrassing relegation in history happens. ****in hell, just some accountability. Why isn't the person in charge of negotiating getting the sack for somehow making us fail PSR despite a net profit of £42m over the past 5 years? Top's biggest flaw is allowing these snakes to get in bed with him and he has shown himself to be nothing more than a petulant child when he's questioned. If you're going to flaunt yourself with the Premier League trophy then you sure as hell take the shit when you mess up.
  6. I hear you but don't underestimate just how unbelievably bad we have been run for years.
  7. There was one against Forest where it went under his body. I'm not searching for it 😂
  8. Who's they? When Vichai and Top arrived they chucked money at it so carelessly to absolutely no avail and until Pearson came in we were heading the exact same way as Mel Morris' Derby. If you want to attribute all the success down to ownership because it's their money that bankrolled the staff eventually recommended to them (that they'd also made sure were sacked before they arrived) then fine. I think it's this kind of really weak argument that has enabled the catastrophic failure of the last few years and we just, and I mean just, keep getting away with it. They got out the Championship first time like they absolutely needed to. They've somehow avoided a points deduction. Yet we see no obvious signs they're learning from their mistakes. We should be grateful for those who have got us out of the mess that those at the top have created, but we shouldn't be letting them get away with it.
  9. I still can't believe there's been two times I've been at the city ground where we blew 2-0 leads in absolutely identical fashion with nothing but a hopeful punt in the box and on both occasions our goalkeeper coming and flapping for it. Then there was the one Weale let go under him. ****ing hell this shit scars me.

  11. I completely believed that Palarse was how you thought Palace was spelt, and the rest was going to be some incoherent mess given it's the early hours of a Sunday morning.
  12. Is Piper and Co. Some kind of crisp manufacturer?
  13. If only he hadn't managed to make his two biggest blunders against them lot
  14. Are you joking? I've never seen so many opposition teams put everyone on the goalkeeper for a throw-in like they did Ricardo. He even got dropped in the end didn't he? Was an absolute horror show for us.
  15. Something very political about the corrupt, established order watching us all fight because we have got one over on the system that oppresses them too - Kevin Costner, Waterworld
  16. I think that was one thing they suggested but the sponsors would pull out if they didn't have the bigger clubs in.
  17. Talksport tomorrow - I'm honestly expecting 2 hours of Simon Jordan and their "financial expert" losing their little minds because they've been made to look like they know nothing, along with guest like Warnock talking about how we never got punished back in his day.
  18. Find it hard to stomach Everton and Forest fans moaning. We went down. They breached and stayed up. Not to mention we have then missed out on more or less every main target we had in the summer, most likely because of this lingering.
  19. It would be better for everyone if they just said going down was probably punishment enough
  20. That match everyone in the Kop was convinced I was an Oasis fan cos of my hair and this absolute weapon in front kept smiling at me every time we had an attack. So at half time I had to convince him I wasn't a Man City fan sat in our end by naming players like Rob Ullathorne and Theo Zagorakis.
  21. We absolutely have to start a 4-2-3-1 at home with Buenonotte and Mavididi. If not then most games will play out like today. We were by no means terrible but this idea that it's the only way to stay in games was kind of how Pearson set up and ultimately stayed at the foot of the table until they went for it. If you're not giving the other team anything to think about until the last half an hour, it suddenly becomes very easy to play against us. We aren't good enough defensively to rely on staying in the game.
  22. Why do we have the sponsors of some dodgy league two club who's owner had mafia links?
  23. I think he's a much better manager when he's trying to win a game. The way he sets up away though could end up defining him as a manager. I don't want to imagine what his Premier League away record will look like at end of this season if he carries on setting up like that.
  24. I use this meme that much that I had to check I'd not done this post drunk
