If it's only that then I don't think we should sell anyone we don't need to if we go up. Id rather start with -6 and KDH etc than know our books are balanced and be forced to make Alves and Braybrooke be the stars.

I think a best case scenario would be going up and then there being other clubs starting to have this hang over them and we manage to stay up. I know it's a long shot but it's what we should be aiming for to get out the mess.

When Daka came into the team before he went to AFCON he did more for this system than of the other strikers. He split defences and properly allowed the wingers to play their game. Just to entertain this mad conspiracy for a second - if you think a bunch of out of contract players who've hated being here for 2 years want to stick around another couple of weeks at segrave for a day out at Wembley then quite frankly you have lost your marbles.

I feel like I've been almost gaslighted into thinking I don't know "modern football" by anyone I suggested to that it was outright ridiculous and financial madness to abandon every wing back at the club in the summer. How dare I suggest that you could switch to using wing backs (a role that's been used for probably a hundred years). That's not how the games played under Enzo. Even I couldn't have imagined they'd be absolutely no other plan for when things don't work though. It's infuriating.
