  1. As someone who went Uni there, I concur.
  2. I think the "can he do it in Stoke on a Tuesday night" became more of a can he actually turn up and stomach being there for 90 minutes rather than it's a hard place for a player to perform.
  3. Agree with the misconceptions of what Andy King was as years go by. But you're forgetting some outstanding seasons in the Championship. When we first went up and he maintained his position when Sven was chucking all his millions around. Far more than just a great League One player. He was too tired for Championship too. Add to that all the things you say. He highlighted the fact you win nothing without a fully commited squad. Plenty of great XIs have suffered because there's players in the squad moaning they aren't playing. We were so lucky to have players like King around.
  4. Only thing them parachute payments will be spent on is Rudkin and Whelan's end of season Piss The League Buffet
  5. Think it's worth trying a few other out in Winks' role as we start to pull a bit further away. We could really do with giving him more of a rest. If anything happens to him I'd be worried.
  6. It's funny reading other forums get annoyed about how arrogant we are on here. Get used to it. We're gonna ****ing walk this league and there's another 36 games left Mwahahahaahaha
  7. I burst a blood vessel in my neck when the 3 minutes went up against Hull. They seem to have lowered it a bit in certain Prem games but then others still have the usual 10/11. Like every other rule, it's as consistent as my shits after a Memsaab
  8. First 9-0 win of 4 this season in my opinion.
  9. After Celtic had theirs ruled out. Enough to make me get the handwipes out
  10. I love how in these pictures of him winding up opposition fans there is always a mix of those who are absolutely furious, and then some who are just like smiling like fairplay you legend.
  11. The thought of him leaving the pitch for the last time makes me tear up. I am going to be an absolute mess when it happens.
  12. It was more difficult to watch us record 0.01xg and have Rodgers admire our character every week
  13. It's just not on. This is the 3rd time I've had to record Emmerdale now.
  14. I think it would churn my stomach if I knew what Susan Whelan earned. And if you shown me Rudkin's salary you'd be visiting me in the infirmary with some grapes.
  15. And us piss the league
  16. Nacho set his first goal up. It's an absolute no brainer to play someone of his quality in this league. Play him when teams sit back and play Vardy when teams come at us. Sit back and watch us piss the league. We really don't need to over think this.
  17. Probably my only proper issue with Maresca so far has been the treatment of Souttar and the ones who were willing to be in the team and had to be out the whole squad while he made a point of picking two goalkeepers for the bench. I didn't see it as anything other than detrimental to our chances of winning a game. You could have him on the bench to see out a game or anything. Anything but Danny Ward ffs. Anyway I hope this is the start of him coming back into the fold.
  18. I don't really mind anyone grabbing me and throwing me down the stairs as long as we have scored. Be bad if it got ruled out though.
  19. He didn't give that potential foul by Justin in the box and could tell it was in the back of his mind for the rest of the game. If we win them Klopp makes an example of him and this has been an issue since the Fergie days. Referees will always side with big clubs because decisions that go against them are back page news and ones that go against us are barely spoken about. VAR was supposed to cut out that bias but only reaffirmed it.
  20. Really hope Nacho isn't gonna do a Tielemans on us. Everything about his personality says he won't do that, but it's quite obvious he was looking to leave and if he's agreed something for end of the season then it's gonna be more about staying injury free than committing 100% and we seen enough of that last season. Our biggest obstacle this season will be the lead up to the window and the window itself.
  21. Glad others picked up on that commentator. Thought I had Liverpool TV on. Even after an attack second half he said we've done nothing 😂 Ndidi had just been in on goal. Arghhh We did well on the break but could have been overawed on more occasions than we were. Overall that's probably a par performance for that eleven. I'd like to see a few more of those players who played tonight now integrated back in. Especially Souttar. Too good to be out the squad like he is. Don't get it at all.
  22. I got some given to me at the ground for free when they first started sponsoring it. I spent the second half on the shitter.
  23. We are, and they treat us like it. So it's why i never mind reminding everyone of that when we get empty token gestures like this
  24. Think it was more like Manchester United saying you're always welcome back and he's gone there to train and they've seen he's at a good enough level to have as back up. At worst he would be around to help the u21s and probably start his way into coaching. I always thought a lot of him until his interview at the end of last season. It dawned on me then that it wasn't just the obvious ones like Soumare, it was a whole dressing room lacking character, leadership and a backbone.
  25. If they cared about anything like this they'd make games more accessible to general sale when they're clearly not going to sell out. Obviously I never want to see the day where we are only getting 20,000 again but they'd be doing everything they could with offers to get you down then. Now we sell out every week you see exactly what they think of us.
