  1. Just seen Top in Safeway near the ground. He said to expect no incomings, he thinks Rudkin is doing fine and he thinks I need to buy new trainers. (They had mud on) Just so no one thinks this is misinformation, he was wearing the same clothes he had on in the Owyn interview and he wears Joop aftershave.
  2. I'd usually say this is absolute bollocks but there's been reports Rudkin waits for Top's orders on decisions and is nowhere to be seen. What a way to run a football club.
  3. Sorry I can't see previous posts, can I just get this right - the communications director has been contacting fan podcasts?
  4. I just asked Xavi Calm on Instagram and he told me to go **** myself
  5. What also gets me is the timing of it. Everyone was saying it was because of money. Now we know it isn't, it begs the question who on earth watched Blackburn at home and thought he was honestly turning it around from there?
  6. He wasn't good enough and I think he should have got way more out of the resources available but I can't celebrate. Knowing what's hanging over us with the points deduction and the wider issue with Rudkin and Top, there's just an empty feeling tonight. They'll be praying King gets a couple of results so they can leave it to him for the rest of the season. Then we'll have a reset with a bunch of scouts and Director of Football who show no evidence they can sort this out. Feel a bit for Marti. I like the way he took the time to appreciate the history of the club and the city. Much more than previous managers. You cannot defend what has gone on though. Yes, we have a bunch of awful characters but there were so many ways you could get more out this squad.
  7. Oh yeah sorry I meant a game week. I still can't believe it happened though
  8. It always blows my mind that Stuart Broad finished 1st in the world once
  9. But I've turned them into Fox favourites, Mr Fox_favourite.
  10. Don't think he had a good game if we're talking about what we need from a player in that position but he had a good game for the circumstances and what he's been thrown into. I think it can be more nuanced than he's great or he's shit. This place is far too reactionary. He was at fault for their first goal but the flick on should never be allowed either. He was caught out positionally a few times too and they definitely exposed that earlier on in the game. Throwing him and Hamza together was brutal. Hamza should be doing more to help him but the version of Hamza we have isn't the one other teams get. The way the teams been put together this season has basically been like throwing shit against a wall until it sticks. It's not stuck much but when it has, it's like that'll do. Skipp and James was about our 11th attempt at a centre midfield pairing. It's all such poor management. Forget what's going on above him. There were managers who could have got so much more out of this season.
  11. Tempted to put myself forward for the job. I'm 2nd with us on Football Manager. Ayew has 15 in 22. Soumare and Winks have been that good for me that I've rewarded them with new deals. Got Brownhill on a free. Daka got a hat trick against Sheffield United. Aluko, Evans, Page and Monga have all become embedded in the first team squad. Give it me till the end of the season
  12. He did really well for Wilder at Sheffield United which just tells me the culture at this club has allowed his performances. Not defending him either in that. He's part of that culture as much as any of the players. Captain or stand in captain and he's the last role model you'd want to have.
  13. No we don't. I'm sick of this accusation. We expect ****ing effort. This level is disgusting. I don't know one fan who wouldn't be absolutely fine if the decline meant we sold a few players and were fighting relegation in the Premier League. Even that as a drop off would have been huge but we'd still be fine with it. I hate the idea that because we have achieved those wins that we are entitled. It's a view I think that's crept into the players too and allowed so much decline. Oh they just expect a title win so what do they know. Even Top tried to say it during his car crash interview. It's a deluded, self centred, petulant view by a bunch of arrogant, out of their depth tossers who don't give a shit about this club.
  14. It's got to the point where I respect anyone far more for leaving than staying and clapping. In pretty much every other era I can think of I have shown that kind of support when others have been far too quick to leave or jeer the team. I usually hate that kind of fan, I still do. But in this situation, this owner, team, board and club deserve absolutely no support and you are enabling our demise by showing any. Clapping this? You have to be a ****ing moron.
  15. Careful, I just used the exact same analogy and got lynched
  16. Agree with this point. I hate when some say they're not bothered. I get feeling disconnected but that just hurts even more for me. It's really affecting me. I don't mind saying that. I despise what Top has done. He is the worst thing to happen to us and if today isn't enough to make the last of the happy clappers realise then I don't know what will be.
  17. I did both at same time with Norovirus
  18. The west stand accept their wives having sex with other men. They'll accept this.
  19. Only Forest's fat owner sacks anyone that quick
  20. Agreed, Id hate for anyone to have to mention he relegated us alongside all he achieved.
  21. At least being Welsh you're used to shit after shit
  22. Realise they have to be a bit lenient on LCFC player but ****ing hell Taggart. After I watched him pre match say we deserved a point at Wrexham, I've just sat through him looking like a drunk Uncle say things like "Leicester started well" and "they were unlucky with the goal" What the ****s he on about?
  23. What do we reckon the availability of season tickets will be like next season?
  24. The sad thing was that all the talk of Corriedale made me stick it on. The sadder thing was I enjoyed it.
