Id argue Ayew made space for Reid a couple of times. We seemed to have a plan to cut it back to the midfielder running into the box and it was working really well with Ayew dragging their centre back out of position. It was a bit like Enzo tactics. When I was in University Alan Young let me interview him and I couldn't put it out on socials in the end because he doesn't exactly hold back on all kinds of subjects. On the ownership, he said he'd been pulled aside on multiple occasions to never criticise the owners after saying a bit too much. I doubt anything has changed and the fact it is the closed shop it is now allows them to control that narrative. Nelson was ****ing shit. So slow to react to just about everything. Okoli and him are saved from a lot of criticism today because it will mainly be pointed at Thomas but ****ing hell that backline is just awful. Nelson and Vesty against Derby was much better. Thomas was good that day too. I don't think he should play for us again after today though. I want to see the lad do well but this is just doing no one any good now.
