  1. Nice work putting this together. This is exactly right. We are capable of this, despite many here saying effectively that we are relegation favourites and have a “poor” squad. We just need to be brave enough and have more belief in ourselves rather than just trying to get rid of the ball and turn the ball over straight away. This has a lot to do with the way our team is set up too (which is on Cooper) and of course belief is set by the manager (which is also on Cooper). I hope this result spurs the team (and Cooper) on to have more belief.
  2. It could have very easily been 1-1 or 1-2 in the end. As luck would have it, it remained 1-0 and we have a few that are giving Cooper credit for the luck that we got. Sometimes we say we create our own luck, but not this time!
  3. Some are defending this as a ‘win is a win’. If Bournemouth had just a little more luck and had one of their shots that hit the bar or the post gone in, I wonder what they would have said. How would they analyze the same tactics and gameplan for the second half? It is not even like that we completely shut down Bournemouth. We conceded quite a few good chances despite our defenders playing quite well. It was the fact that our tactics of just hoofing it up and defend meant that we were under pressure the entire second half, needing to defend wave after wave of attacks. That pressure meant that we conceded quite a few good chances. Were you happy with our tactics for the second half?
  4. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is in the relegation zone and without a win following Leicester’s raid of their top players.
  5. Happy with 3 points. But I am almost there with calls for Cooper out - not sure how much longer I like to keep my patience with Cooper. Cooper was saved by a moment of brilliance and the post/bar a few times today. Otherwise, we played like we are away from home playing a team a division higher. We posed no threat whatsoever in the second half. We turned the ball over almost always instantly with no outlet to bring the ball upfield. So so poor. We could not even keep the ball for more than 20 seconds. We had no clue. If not for the post/bar and Bournemouth failing to capitalise on the numerous chances they had, we would have dropped points once again, at home. Great to get three points, but so disappointed to see how we play. Second half was the worst this season. Totally dominated by Bournemouth at home. We have a decent squad but we lack any plan and team selection is poor. Cooper (almost) out.
  6. Mentality is of extreme importance, as with everything in life. Even with a strong team, poor mentality can get you down (literally speaking - see our relegation season). On the other hand, having a winning mentality can do wonders (literally speaking - see our EPL title winning season when we were also relegation favourites).
  7. Not sure about others, but I didn’t think Maresca was the best in this regard too. Just relatively speaking. But at least he went into games with a positive winning mindset, but in-game he definitely had room to improve. But Cooper seems to go into games thinking we are one division down with no game plan other than trying to smash and grab.
  8. Cooper really has a loser mentality. Home against Bournemouth. Trying to hold on to 1-0 for dear life the entire second half. Miles apart from Maresca in this regard.
  9. Happy with 3 points. But I am almost there with calls for Cooper out - not sure how much longer I like to keep my patience with Cooper. Cooper was saved by a moment of brilliance and the post/bar a few times today. Otherwise, we played like we are away from home playing a team division higher. We posed no threat whatsoever in the second half. We turned the ball over almost always instantly with no outlet to bring the ball upfield. The worst offenders were VK and Ndidi - not surprising with Ndidi. Any moment we had in any build up was destroyed as soon as the ball got to VK (with Ndidi missing). So so poor. We could not even keep the ball for more than 20 seconds. We had no clue. If not for the post/bar and Bournemouth failing to capitalise on the numerous chances they had, we would have dropped points once again, at home. 10. Geeze. This is like training for the opposition. We pose no threat whatsoever. So poor in our play. Exactly as I predicted. With Ndidi in the middle, we can only hoof it up randomly or try from the side. Need to shake things up Cooper. Use you subs!! Bilal for Ndidi. Fatawu for Ayew.
  11. I hope Bilal can come on for a bit for Ndidi and Also Fatawu a bit for Ayew. We attack.
  12. Cooper has lost it for me. Ndidi back to the DCM role??? Good luck with us getting any up the pitch other than hoofing it up or predictably going to through the sides. Ayew instead of Bilal or Fatawu??? No Ricardo again.
  13. Even with crappy tactics (I still don’t know what our attacking strategy is) and team selection, our results have always been just there or thereabouts. But not good enough. Our team is so much better than this. We got to 2-2 at 90 mins with many of our attacking talents still on the bench and playing mostly pump it up and hope for the best League Two tactics. Imagine what our players can do with a better manager. Geeze, even if it is boring, Enzo would have us do much better. Why do we have Vardy chasing shadows all day when we can have Bilal, Eduoard and even Ayew also supporting. The biggest problem for me is our build up. We just lack any plan. Kristiansen’s just constant pumping the ball randomly up field is just too disruptive. We give the ball cheaply too often. Come on, Cooper sort it out. Start with the right team selection please! Drop Kristiansen, get Ricardo back on (even as LB at least we won’t lose the ball cheaply with Ricardo) first of all.
  14. Mads would have got the ball if Justin didn’t kick it on.
  15. I said to get Ndidi off as his touch was getting even heavier
  16. Thank you Cooper. Your negativity works against us again.
  17. Fatawu would be crossed it
  18. Should get Ndidi off instead of Skipp Should get Fatawu on instead of Reid
  19. Go for a positive substitution Cooper!
  20. Cooper is saved by Mads
  21. Cooper is really conservative.
  22. Geeze. Make a sub Cooper. Time to throw Bilal in for Ndidi. We need another player who can keep the ball up front.
  23. We really need to get an attacker on. Put pressure on. Get Fatawu or El for Ndidi.
