  1. Got Clough written all over it, hasn't it? Edit Trying to avoid hyperbole, but we are at the point if we need to question whether Rudkin is well 😂
  2. Makes perfect sense to me. He can play back up to the world's worst professional keeper. Then Iversen will be happy to back up to the new guy. Then Stolarcyk in January can be an extra back up, to the world's worst keeper, just in case.
  3. I'm not his biggest fan but he's really fit, committed and miles better than bdcr
  4. I enjoy eurostar but the time/distance benefits are overegged imo.. Door to door via East mids or Brum would be about the same as Leicester station via St pancras Eurostar
  5. The lad is pushing for the move. Any decent negotiator would tell Genk a take it or leave it and let the player do all the hassling. Sadly,.the absolute basics of business are beyond this adminstration. They get played time and time again. Maybe Woodward at Man U and West Ham's porn addled minds were/are as bad as we are..
  6. I don't think Cooper can even remotely coach that system. And I'm saying that as someone who was pleased to lose Enzo and largely pleased with Cooper's appointment. Tbh, if you dismiss the first 25 mins of both games, we've been OK. Not great, but not bad. Thing is, by playing a team at only 80% of its potential, both games could've been vastly better. And that's all down to Cooper. It's like he's given up two good players for lent.
  7. He's by no means perfect but the partnership with Vesty is one of the few reliable (even allowing for the unreliability,.if you see what I mean) parts of our team
  8. I get your point but it's a naive, fanciful thought. Put it into the context of a normal workplace. If your employer made around of redundancies and you'd survived....then to see the same situation looming again, you'd be entitled to look elsewhere rather than staying out any sense of responsibility.
  9. It would be a disaster to lose him. But I totally get why he wants out. He's trying to protect his career by avoiding a second relegation. I'd do the same in his shoes.
  10. Disagree totally. We absolutely DO need players who are bigger and better than LCFC.
  11. Sorry mate, but what total tripe. Even worse, you've attempted to patronise people whilst posting such tripe.
  12. That's a really really weak riposte. We are all armchair pundits here. And if you have half a brain, you know exactly the point that was being made.
  13. He'd want to stay if we'd offered him Ayews contract and the game time of Ayew
  14. You can fit Wilf,.Skipp,.Ricky and JJ all into the same starting xi.
  15. The lack of strategic thinking at the club is astounding. We could've kept a 27 yo Kels on the same wages + and saved ourselves a 5m fee. Not suggesting Kels should've stayed, but there's heullva argument he's better than Ayew. Or at least very little in it, at worst. But nope. Lets.lose Kels for free.and pay a rival club more of our money
  16. Agree almost completely.. I take a different view on VK today. First he stuck at the task with Traore, even when he got done. second, there were six or seven occasions he received the ball wide in his own half with two men closingnhim.andnhe didnt panic nor look for the easy ball down the line. Went inside or back and held his nerve. Wasn't great but thought he could be pleased with his day's work
  17. Ok, what was ok today?. We were resilient in a way not seen for nearly an decade. At times we took the sting out of the game nicely. And, I thought Vesty, Faes, VK (tho noone else seems to) were ok, Winks Mads about par and first 25 mins aside, thought Wilf was excellent. Thought Skipp looked really tidy when he came on.
  18. I suppose the ball bouncing 5 yards offa him when he's trying to control it does t count as a .misplaced pass.
  19. The whole front line is wrong. Far too much laid on Buonnotte shoulders. He should be a bench option. Vards cannot lead the line. It's absurd. Again, he can come on as a psychological weapon later on on games. BDCR, enough said.
  20. I think is magnified that it was all so predictable. I KNEW he'd be like this. Vaguely competent pro bit wholly ineffectual. He has absolutely no USP,.nothing stand out. Absolute beige in the extreme. sickening three better players - significantly better too - are playing second fiddle to such invisibility.
  21. We've just paid 10m fee and wages package for a 44 year old Ayew..more money than anyone in the world would pay for him, even Saudi FFS. 15m on a centre half that isn't good enough to play. And we let another centre half worth 15m walk for free this season. Another 4m on wages for a new Ryan Bertrand 29m spunked. More than enough money to make a fist of this. We've just chosen not to.
  22. I want to like Cooper and he seems a nice enough fella, but he's not conducting himself well in interviews. He's ultra beta. And his comment about 'leta see what Ricky is made of this season' (or words to that effect) have irked me. Ricky's earned his respect here Steve. You haven't. An elite full back cruelly hampered twice with major injuries. Yet still he managed to get to a European semi (scoring in the quarters) and then a key player and a winner's medal in the championship (rather than a shithouse play off win that cooper managed) Play him. Personally I'd have him at Attacking right midfield and coordinate with JJ.
  23. Seeing as we won the league last year, you'd look at videos right? See what was good and bad, right? It's mind boggling. Like someone stepping in at arsenal, watching last year's Odegaard and Martinelli, and coming to the conclusion to drop them both. For BDCR!
  24. Well done Owen PA btw
