The build up to Spurs has been soooo bad, it actually gives me hope. Put it like this, if we were a regular upper mid table side and playing a total shambles of a promoted club first game, we'd lose. Nailed. On.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Paninistickers replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
I've had this in business. The complete backing of management. I've seen appointed an appallingly out of depth middle manager. lost key staff members hand over fist, who resigned in exasperation at the daily incompetence But the business just doubled down. They wouldn't accept they'd made a boo boo. And instead trashed a perfectly functioning product to protect their pride, rather than admit a mistake -
Hypothetical New Ownership- Who Would You Like?
Paninistickers replied to niyaminski's topic in Leicester City Forum
Gotta be the Shipman family. Those heady days of selling off a terraced house we'd bought on Burnmoor Streetv-intended for the future redevelopment of the east stand - but instead flogged off to pay the leccy bill. -
Head need to roll? We are talking about a club leadership that prefers hundreds of empty seats rather than sell them to supporters. A club who gleefully refuses tickets to fans who travelled to Warsaw under covid conditions. A club who deliberately wouldn't sell tickets to Moscow. A club who tried to keep the charity shield quiet and instead pump publicity for the Villarreal friendly. The club hire buses for Thai Tik Tokers to wave heroically at the great unwashed. The club organise friendlies in Singapore six days before the start of the domestic season Awarding RENEWED multi million pound contracts to semi pro, national league level standard goalkeepers And on and on and on. The club is rotten to the core. No heads will roll. I'd anticipate the senior staff will more likely receive a pay rise

I think it's very close. Had a feeling for three or four weeks now. He's clearly been sold down the river. The subsequent full, independent inquiry - led by that renowned judiciary figure Judge Rudkin Whelan - will no doubt conclude that the resignation was unfortunate and note Rudkin and Whelan conducted themselves throughout with distinction

More's the reason to have emulated last season's very very good Window. Target top championship level / lower PL players willing to have a crack at the PL without actually any guarantee of PL status. Winks did. Coady did. Hermansen did. Fatawu did. Mavididi did. We could've signed at will that level of player been financially sound and not over exposed if we are relegated

One thing's for sure ....the post relegation inquiry commissioned by - and then conducted by - Rudkin and Whelan will fully exonerate.Rudkin and Whelan -

Yeah, tbh, what we did with more or less zero money was great work and very nearly kept us up. In fact, we were good enough to stay up. We blew it. This summer is more.like the following summer where Adams couldn't cope on his own without Bassett and signed Dublin, Connolly, Keown and luckily failed.to.land a woeful Jason Mcateer -

I'm wondering if he'll resign -

Maybe it is just about tolerable if we had t signed BDCR....to have them both is absolutely ghastly. The grimmest if grim. Even Sheffield United would wobble at this, Shades of the summer we got Scimeca, Steve Howey, LesFerdinand, Dabizas and Keith Gillespie all on frees as we were totally broke -
Goodness me. Remember Souttar didn't train for about two weeks prior to his move, which gives an idea how far off this transfer is

Mate, in the interests of fairness, I had the jabs (in order to travel) but absolutely refused the kids to have them. My COVID back in whenever, 2021 I think, was a heavy very snotty cold that left me with tinnitus. But basically a cold, wasn't much illness as such My kids were both knocked sideways with flu type symptoms and pretty unwell, but recovered within 72 hours. Basically, I suspect the natural strength of someone's body (at any given time) and exposure to viral load has far more to do with it than the vaccine

The ECB couldn't make it clearer that they don't want the tournament to succeed. Last year, we had a free day bank holiday August Monday but the game had to be played Tuesday -

Tell me the business model. Nobody is interested in this thing. The money men are looking, for sure. Problem is, they are looking but can't see how to monetise it. It's bankrupt, in every sense. -

Lol, now there's some (pretty decent) indie band on at half time playing to a bemused audience who aren't taking a.blind bit of notice. Edit. Lol, literally zero applause. To give this some context tho, it's equivalent to that **** Agnew having a bowling net session on stage prior to the band doing a gig at the Brixton Academy -

Got this shite on for the first time this summer. Ok, I'm never gonna be persuaded but the tv coverage and the sporting jeopardy is absolute shite. Total absolute shite. It's cricket Susan Whelan would invent. It really ain't that hard to revive/win new interest in cricket. JUST.STICK.T20.ON.MAINSTREAM.TV. -
Will he be the first German in the PL since Bert Trautmann?

I do sometimes wonder if it's as simple as Whelan/Top simply not knowing how to. Unless it's a formal process of HR recruitment process with the job publicly advertised as a vacancy, Whelan may not have a scooby how to find a DoF. Wouldn't be surprised.

Non ironic comment. I'm evangelical about keeping this building. In 20-30 years Lee Circle and the Abbey Street car park (with hotel) will be tourist attractions. The only difference between tat and antique is time. The only difference between art and scribble is admiration.

Just seen the Tom Cruise thing for the closing ceremony. Goodness gracious. He must be mining Africa's entire Botox reserves. -
Agree. I have this weird sense there's goings on that makes this more than just a regular ownership, business relationship. It's almost like a cult. You can imagine this going full David Koresh Waco siege. The Facebook loonies taking up arms (like the Branch Davidians did) to defend the KPLCFC relationship. It's toxic.
