He's always right tbf. Surprised about Praet. Must be injured!

This is Leicester at its best. The polar opposite of Nottingham. Defeatist. Negative. Doom mongering. Every silver lining has a cloud. I love it.

If roles were reversed, I'd be shit scared not of us failing to reduce a 9 point gap, I'd want the win just to keep saints and Ipswich at arms length Lose , and it's game on for them two chasers. Hopefully that'll worry Leeds into a shambles of a performance Edit, also if we'd gone 9 on the spin, I'd be totally convinced that run can't continue

Didn't give offside away at Portsmouth play off semi! Tbf, it was utter confusion as either Oldfield or the Big O (I forget which) deflected the ball goalwards in a fashion that even Ipswich would struggle to recreate

I'm too Leicester in my DNA to be anything other than resigned to defeat tonight. I just have this deep rooted mentality that 'good things don't happen to us' ....we've won league, fa cup, charity shield, 2 league cups and 5 promotions in my lifetime....and the players don't share my DNA nor loser mentality. Yet still, 'good things don't happen to us' is hardwired.

Spent as much time in the third division as they have PL in my lifetime. Ours was a one off freak. They are down there as often as a Peterborough or Northampton -

Saw that report a few weeks ago. It's worth an alternative thread. I'll set one up. -

Give or take where the college is then, which makes sense as that way goes down to countesthorpe Would be hugely advantageous to Leicester economy if that line to Rugby (and then off to Northampton) were re introduced. Ditto Coventry link. Ditto Ivanhoe line. But, alas, Leicester basically never ever gets central government funding. The new east west link at Bedford would be useful too, but you can imagine the trains will run anywhere but Leicester -
Also gives the ball away 9 times out of 10

Excellently put. And all those totally unknown players they have 'Rodrigues Domingo de sanchez Danilo' - bought purely for exotic the exotic names - who absolutely nobody has the foggiest about. A work colleague of mine years ago used to go on and on and on about a lad called Michael Mancienne. We'd just bought Wes offs then but it was all about Mancienne. I pointed out if this.lad was so good, we'd just buy him offa them. But it never dented his belief that Mancienne was Christ incarnate -
If there's one thing that Dennis does well (I think there's more than one thing, but let's assume his critics are right and there is just the one) it's that clever untracked run inside the full back to deliver a cross - a move that Wilf pulled off two or three times this season to great effect

If more than 20 are in, it'll feel rammed. Tiny ain't the word -

Which line would that have been on? Great central? -
I don't understand the procedural hoo-ha that surrounds this

The Comms on Southampton feed last night never mentioned us once in the context of chasing. The only mention we got was Hull being the best team they'd seen except for us and maybe west Brom. It was all about game in hand on / points behind or ahead of Leeds etc
-
Not that I've followed the championship for the last decade, but this promotion battle must be the best ever. Runaway leaders tracking for record points total may well not be promoted until 2 or 3 games out, and that's if things go well. Then three teams battling for second, (and pressuring first into a potential meltdown).all three conceivably get 98-102 points....and.might not be promoted! Extraordinary really
-
I feel that is a direct reflection on their manager Or a direct deflection off their manager!
-
Special championship rule that allows Ipswich an identical number of minutes of injury time / substitutions / deflections per game
-
3 mins v Hull we had. They was a scandal
-
Even their own commentary described them as awful and totally undeserved
-
Are these the luckiest team ever?
-
Rotherham just hit the fckn post
-
Hull should be 4 or 5 up.
-
I agree with you. We can, of course, afford to have one team catch us up. But I was making the point that other teams feel pressure too. Not exclusive to us.
-
Tbh, if saints win and Ipswich too, don't it just lump the pressure on Leeds? It's.not just us who feel under pressure
