Hello mate, felt like this needed answer. Might be worth popping up a message in the supporter's groups section on hete and see if there's any other jocks who come down
-
Why do they do a three day gap between STHs and Members? Each bracket needs only a 24 hour headstart, anyone who misses their bracket can still dip in the next day at the next bracket(s) down
-
Lol, that's being humble in the extreme. Apart from Leeds away, where I'd accept a point if given, there isn't a single other game where our starting xi (selected from anyone of our 13 best players) isn't favourite to win. Doesn't mean we will win if course, but we have the best centre halves in the league, best midfielders in the league, best goalkeeper in the league, best wingers (I thought our two edged the Leeds pair in the KO game) and two proven PL strikers (albeit not at their best)

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff
Paninistickers replied to davieG's topic in General Chat
I've looked on YouTube a couple of times in the last to find the CCTV of this and surprisingly nobody has ever uploaded it. A thrilling escape. Worthy of a film -
Looks like Tigers got a decent win. Are they expected to beat these SA teams? No idea if the standard they are bringing
-
People were pouring out. Not to the level of the last two games l, but the same old faces pre programmed to move at, say, 90 mins, were up and off . Last season we actually had one last glimpse of the old Leicester under Rodgers v Spurs. We totally dominated and it was a joy to watch. The guy next to me look bewildered at these mug punters pre programmed to move at whatever minute, turned and said to me 'these people don't know how to enjoy themselves' ...it was an accurate a description I've heard. Soulless, feeble, people frightened of doing anything different or out of the ordinary. What dismal lives.

He ain't going either palace or Forest. It'll be stay with us or join a big team.
-
Praet straight swap. At championship level it should be a sinch for him. If not, Hamza to RB and push Ricky up into Wilf's position.. Under no circumstances should Casadei play
-
Extraordinary that on my row, the exact same people have a family issue at the same minute every game. What are the chances of that?
-
It's inconceivable that Casadei will be picked ahead of Praet. Unless we've made a major boo boo and agreed to a minimum appearance level.

I think our recent scouting since Aug 22 and Wout Faes (ie since Rodgers and his team were relieved of duties in terms of transfers) has been largely phenomenal. Faes excellent. Souttar not bad. Kraitensen excellent work for a team that plays full backs! Hermansen is a stellar piece of work. Fatawu pretty decent. Mavidi pretty ok. Coady clearly signed to plug a leadership vaccum Bit this lad and Tete were serious serious howlers. Just goes to show scouting ain't an exact science
-
Just boo. The 15000 or so happy to stay to the end should simply start booing soon as the first losers start traipsing down the steps. It will add to the surrealism that every home game we become known for booing our own supporters
-
Then don't. Be the change you wanna see etc It really isn't life changing getting home Half an hour later than you otherwise would do. Aside from anything else, it's simple good manners to stay to the end. I don't have to thank the waiting staff at a restaurant. I don't have smile at petrol station server or say bye. I don't have to thank a taxi driver. I just do..it's manners. Applauding the team at the end after a win (or good performance) is the same, simple courtesy

I'm Mr Suburbia. Difference is I don't travel the world denouncing our city and refusing to go any nearer to town than Fosse Park
-
I think it's symptomatic of the city. There are so many people who live here who openly say the city is shite. They run the place down. 'never go into town'. 'like a foreign country' 'hassled by beggars' ....we are a city of ee-orrs I just cannot imagine a Geordie slagging off Newcastle (and guess what, they have beggars and foreigners.too!) Or Scousers, or Taffs in Cardiff etc etc. There's absolutely no civic pride here. People hole up in a nice comfortable 80s jelson built house in Broughton Astley, Anstey, Fleckney and essentially close their curtains on the world outside. We just aren't a community.
-
Absolutely correct. We are decent in numbers but feeble in terms of culture. Off the pitch we are a bland, vanilla fanbase. Not even beta. We aren't even beta. We are an omega fanbase.
-
Didn't the town of Derby recently want to make him a freeman of the place? As a salute to keeping them up for one season against the odds, which, more or less, has been their best season since Jim Smith in the late 90s

Yet another example of what infuriates .me about the club's ticket selling strategy. The ethos should be to welcome as many as poss into the ground. Particularly juniors from outside of the city, and so increase our brand appeal. But no, it's a case of 'your name's not down, you ain't coming in' Membership should be affordable and open to all. Annual fee of 20 quid, kids a tenner. Everybody should have to be a member, Inc st holders (or it gets auto added on) So, let's say an ad-hoc one off trip such as this. Ticket prices plus a a 30 quid membership enrolment. That's it. Data cemented for life.. The only caveats are new memberships being sold for cat A games, Liverpool, Man Utd etc. new memberships are blocked for those games.

Be like the old days, when a group of lads could make a decision Friday night at closing time on a whim to go to an away game.. Meet up 9am, one lad driving an absolute nail, squeeze five in and pay six quid in cash to get in -

Paninistickers replied to Permafrost's topic in Ticket News and Travel
You see, if anyone down there had half a brain, they'd pop up a message on social media saying tix are available to members. A rare chance for an away game! One swoop they a) stops the grizzling from the likes of me who complain that the priority system is way too lopsided B) freshen up and widen the customer base C) assist the team, by making sure the players are backed -

Be interesting to see if this produces a decent end as there could well be 1500+ non regulars going. A freshen up. -
What about the barley mow? Is it still going?

All dressed in designer clobber too. What a simp. Can you imagine Pearson or Ranieri or Shakespeare or Puel or Rodgers or Enzo agreeing to model for . fashion brand every game
