  1. I agree. In fact, I think some if the points we won were in spite of Cooper. Ipswich and Southampton for example, and to a lesser extent Everton second half, I'm convinced the players took over. Gloves off, sleeves rolled up and clawed our way back in to the games. As you suggest, the current trajectory started at Man U away under Cooper and the Dutchman has been unable to arrest that decline. And to an extent, he's made it worse.. Whatever Cooper's problems were, it's actually impossible for him to have done worse than these last seven games and indeed, you'd probably have expected the players to have maybe scrambled a point or two.
  2. The players didn't fancy Cooper that was clear. His team selections were woeful. Tactics non existent. Subs less than non existent. Yet, despite all that, we turned in decent performances in patches most weeks. Spurs second half. Fulham we were a bit meek but far from woeful..Palace we were easily the better side til they scored that offside goal. Ipswich for the first and last 15 minutes was our best football. Southampton caved in under our pressure. Everton about par. Bournemouth we got away with murder. Villa we were decent but over respectful. Forest first half we were very decent. Only against Man U were we as terrible as we have been in almost every game under the Dutchman.
  3. More or less, just devote less of the allocation to away point priority holders. It's not a god given right to go to away games..tbh, it might do some of them good to miss a match once in a while. So, say, limit 60% of any allocation to the priority scheme.. The remaining 40% goes straight to a free for all; all priorities All STs members with purchase history. Freshen up the gene pool a bit. That's it.
  4. Yep, fair. Then it was four and we wanted five.. Someone cleverer than me will confirm he wanted a year less than we wanted. I 100% recall a convo on radio five about it, one of the Monday night club journalist guys saying he'd seen how hard we'd bargained for Maguire and Mahrez and didn't want that same lock in.
  5. There's multiple counts of bad management examples to select from. This particular example is like persisting with a speeding offence when bang to rights for manslaughter. The main mistake with Youri was upon his signature. He shrewdly insisted on a three year deal. When we wanted 4 or 5. He knew from the get go he might need to move himself from City.. In hindsight, for 40m quid, to agree to a three year deal was weak negotiating. That's the gotcha in this saga, not the eventual free he left on.
  6. Ever painted a room and then looked at the colour and thought, FFS? Buy 3 pots more, new rollers and spend 48 hours painting the gaff all over again? Or suffer for six years in a turquoise hell hole til it's ready for a new lick?
  7. Can't see what the fuss is about..Just deregister him. It's a mistake (again). But why compound it? Suck it up and move along.
  8. Classic KP stuff. Spending today our 2025 and 2926 parachute payments.. Which means, come August 2025 and we have no cashflow, we have to take another loan on around 70m worth of sales to keep our heads above water. And then, August 2026 (assuming we aren't promoted) , another loan set against around 40m worth of player sales Tho, oddly, if there's one thing KP do well - and I suspect it's how they really built their billions - it's gambling the family silver over and over and not blinking
  9. Yep. Indeed. We have to avoid hindsight and revisionist stuff here. We couldn't get a buyer in summer 2022. As he was (rightly) being paid extraordinarily well for being integral to a top 7 outfit as we were at the time. I can recall at the time thinking we'd be better off with him here, bolstering our top 7 chances and losing him on a free than the alternative of losing him for 5m-10m-15m and seeing that era fall apart!for the sake of a quick buck. What transpired,. obvs, is we got the worst of both worlds.
  10. The reason I suspect Rudkin is spread so thin is that KP want a minimum of people knowing their shady business.
  11. Lol, true dat. Chicken and egg I grant you. Either way, the UK looks a right old state dunnit? Lazy fckers waiting for African and Indian delivery facto slaves to bring their McDonald's round on a bicycle It's all very unseemly from both sides.
  12. I also hope this protest zones in on the general antipathy the club has towards it's supporters and ticket selling The charge sheet for this is long..three I would list, deliberately historic to illustrate the point the mismanagement has been for years 1. Charity shield tix were effectively hidden away. -General sale was for one single morning just 24 hours prior to match....in favour of a social media pump of Villarreal friendly tickets 2. General sale last season generally went unannounced / unadvertised, leaving fan groups to spread the word. Result were empty seats week after week for games that could easily have sold out 3. The Europa fiasco of control freakery / refusal to offer Moscow ticket 'letter of intent' to supporters until after the visa deadline had passed. Consequently only 26 travelled.
  13. Jason Bourne has gone all in. Though I guess his entire job isn't dependent on City
  14. I think there's a very real chance we could lose all of our remaining games. Teams aren't even breaking sweat to beat us. They just know they will win by simply being there. We've lost to a severely weakened villa, a poor palace, an off form Fulham playing in second gear, an ultra lethargic Man City, Liverpool in the fog to even the game up a bit and an absolutely woeful Wolves. It doesn't augur well.
  15. Tanner only scratches the surface there. Obvs he only has x amount of words to okay with....but it doesn't convey not nearly strong enough the weird weird subservient, incompetent world of KP.
  16. Maybe she's fled the UK for a better standard of life. Maybe she isn't anti Muslim at all. Maybe she isn't anti immigration,.seeing as she practices it (emigration) herself. Maybe she just isn't keen on low skilled immigration pouring into the UK via student visas and dubious asylum claims and working as deliveroo cyclists by, literally, the million
  17. This Dutch fella won't do anything apart from fiddle whilst Rome burns 4231 and tweaks like coady in for Vesty. Ayew. Maybe McAteer or BdcR over Stephy to shake things up Weak, slow. Rinse and repeat. We are dealing with an idiot here.
  18. Sorry mate, that's way off. O Neill had served his time as a non league manager with Shepshed and Grantham..spent a decent 3 or 4 years at Wycombe getting them into the league and establishing them there and then done six months at Norwich. All those years of apprenticeship needed for a Championship team. This Dutch fella has done 1 season in Holland and four games at Man U. He's grotesquely undercooked and over promoted
  19. Haha, thought my post would go The temerity eh to question the peculiar job specification that demands Whelan signs off weird bitcoin gambling services (with two social media followers) for tens of millions? The CEO role absolutely stinks.
  20. I'd imagine schmeichel was the ring leader tbh but yes, certainly with Puel, Vardy didn't even hide his disdain
  21. What? Versus Ward????? Do is a favour Ward has directly and indirectly cost us (albeit not his fault) hundreds of millions of pounds
  22. Totally. But a good manager has the balls to pick the more effective player. And, the more effective player is not always the better player.
  23. Absolute clown post. I have no issue with being garbage or relegation or whatever. It's the charge sheet longer than a grooming gang in Rotherham that's caused this catastrophic collapse. From wild contracts. To contract rundowns. To 15 seconds. To Ward. To playing brinkmanship with PSR (even as far back as 10 years ago when we bought off the EFL). To refusing to seel tickets. To the lack of succession planning. To changes of playing style. I literally could go on all day. It's nothing to do with 'devine (sic) right' or 'greatest day in our history' What an absolute simp post
  24. Exactly that.
