Yeah, but it's self inflicted. We are Ricky, Wilf, Abdul, Stephy and KDH short of last season. We needed all that AND two improvements. We had enough of a basis to make staying up relatively realistic. We've blown it. Like last time playing 26 games minus a goalkeeper. This time we have regularly played players - Vards, JJ, Coady, BdcR, Ayew, McAteer - who wouldn't (and didn't) automatically make the championship starting xi last season.
