  1. 🤣🤣 The good ol' leaving early to save the human race defence now!
  2. This mythical 'people have their reasons' argument is beyond laughable too. Whether it be Saturday, 12:30, Sunday 2:00, midweek 7:45, whatever...the exact same people leave at the exact same time around me. Extraordinary coincidence that they always have this 'thing' the absolutely must do. It's a behavioural sign of the weak
  3. End of? This is a woeful defence. The Oxford debating society would have a field day! We are supporters. Not spectators. We are PART of the product. We actually, genuinely can have an effect on the outcome of a game. Leaving early is a selfish act. Putting self ahead of the community. Just to get home for, in this case, songs of praise (which is available on iPlayer anyway) Amazing that you attend and don't know this.
  4. Surely there is no BC game. It's KP acting as a launderette. It's all nefarious stuff. Dodgy Thai business dealing with a shell in curacao whose real owners are likely to be found via Panama, Grand Cayman and either far east or Russia.
  5. We gotta stabilise that midfield.. I'd (yes really) go Cooper style and try to be conservative for 60 mins and status in the game then reassess. Skipp for Buonnotte. Daka ahead of Vards. Look to bring on Vards and Stephy as the game changers later on
  6. I remember Enzo saying (in so many word anyway) last season that sometimes we kept possession in order to rest. So I guess literally possession for possession sake. So it's not always about drawing teams out. But then again, as you say, that only works if there's no press
  7. Absolutely agree . You want a rodri reaction after we bummed them 5-2. Spitefulness and meanness. Far bigger compliment .
  8. I love it. Knowing some ram fans, their self perception is being like us. or wolves. or even Middlesbrough or Norwich. That's how they see themselves. They talk as if anyone other than people like me know Igor Stimac. Or Paolo Wanchope. Like these exotic dudes from the 1990s give them a badge of class. Totally unaware there's probs been 5000+ similar mid ranking foreign players in the intervening 25 years spaced.out over 40 odd clubs
  9. I just love trotting out Derby's form that season. It somehow looks even worse (better!) than the 11 points Their 38 fixtures went as follows in reverse order, LLLLLLDLLLDLLDDLLLLDLLLLLLLDLDWLLLLD Newcastle were the guilty party, gifting them their only win in..... September 🤣
  10. Yeah, wolves are going the more traditional slow decline route of Stoke or Bolton or Blackburn. The only similar relegations I can recall were Forest under Clough, Villa (the year we won the title) ....tho both of them had total implosions and finished bottom by a mile.
  11. Ok, that summary is far better than your previous 'he's crap' ...things aren't quite that black and white, as your post above basically confirms
  12. He isn't. He's flawed but he's capable. He won us the game v Bournemouth on his own with heroic defending.. Him and Winks also won us 4 points at Saints and Ipswich when then the two of them together dictated a patient build up that had both opposition on their knees He's decent, he's erratic. And sometimes you take the rough with the smooth
  13. Mate, we as fans get the players we wish for in the end.. Players get routinely slaughtered for either an off day, a mistake or just being played against their strengths. No wonder players can't wait to leave us. Right now; VK, Faes, Vesty, Winks, Skipp, Wilf (especially disrespectful given how much he's given is), JJ, Soumare, Daka have all been hammered. I think only Vards, Stephy, Mads and Abdul have avoided any stick this season. It isn't good enough. And worse, it all comes to bite us in the end....just ask Chris Wood and Chilwell and Jeff Schlupp how they enjoy scoring against us.
  14. How long is he out for?
  15. One of the female co Comms on the PL feed is imo proof of the level of work she has to put in. I heard one talk about McAteer's injury last season, Abdul's progress last season, about Vesty dictating the pace of the game. She'd clearly done homework. As any normal professional would in any profession.. Lennon and just about every other; Danny Murphy to Clinton Morrison to Chris Sutton just, basically, do zero research
  16. Opinion thing. I see him get skinned but keep hold of the coat tails of his winger and battle back. He isn't perfect. But he's a battler. Never goes hiding imo
  17. Wouldn't have Thomas in the 25 man squad, let alone bench, let alone starting xi
  18. Wtf is Mavididi ffs
  19. Don't overcomplicate nor try to be clever. Unlike Dawson in Saturday. And Cooper before him. Play those players with a track record. Danish internationals. Yes, even Belgian internationals. Ex Spurs players. Best players from last season. Longest serving LCFC players. And fill in any gaps from there.
  20. Totally agree. But I just hope he isn't playing. Not a personal slight on him. But a mad unable to make Sheffield utd and Middlesbrough teams isn't what we need to stay up.
  21. Yet another example when the supporters know far more than professionals, in this case includes; DoF Manager Scouts Stats Edit; in fact, on reflection I was wrong about him myself. I thought he was dreadful and would never have touched him with a bargepole...but he's somehow WORSE than that evaluation
  22. I saw enough v Newcastle away and Brentford away that he could perform well in a low block against physical teams. This season was always going to see us have to employ low block for numerous games. He's been badly managed by the club..I'd imagine he's delighted to be out
  23. Well, hate to be a smart arse but we shouldn't have been so dismissive. There are times he'll have been torn a new one. But, as a struggling team, sometimes you just gotta find as many little wins and advantages as you can. 6ft 7 defending and attacking set pieces (despite him missing sitters for us in the past) gives the oppo something to think about.
  24. Sorry, but it WAS his fault. He simply isn't qualified (and probably not authorised) to oversee and implement a major tactical and personnel shift - let alone to do so in five days of coaching.
  25. It was dire yes. And a wasted chance. But you have to admit that they chose not to rock the boat. It wasn't their place to. Frustrating. But I can see the logic. Prep the team. Send them out. Today was entirely different. A wholesale tactical change and drafting in two players who were unable to even make a championship side. As for the good riddances for Stowell and Sadler. I agree. I wasn't one of those voices. I appreciated them both. But I get ya. 95% of posters were very cruel about both. Edit; link to oast comments re Stowell and Sadler ...
