Much as I’ve liked him over the years, think it is time to part ways. Has underwhelmed this season, had hasn’t always seemed interested. Loved his VAR goal against Everton, his goals to get us to the cup final, and his penalty to win the charity shield.

Massive well done to @Union FS. Two stands highly impressive. So many hours of planning and putting things together. Keep doing what you are doing, I’d like to think the majority support and appreciate it 👍

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement

Not surprised, they openly said in an email reply to me that the club wants to go fully digital, hence the charge. NFC for all will be the aim eventually. If people are really not happy, please email them. -

To be fair I had put in my reply about the result. It seems they are rigid in their ideas going forward. Hopefully ufs make some headway -

Had exactly the same at half time, I have replied as obviously didn’t make my point clearly enough! Nothing like a timed to send email at half time to make you feel valued 🤣 -

Fantastic display, certainly the best home performance if not the best all round performance of the season. Five star if you will 🦊💙. Fatawu magnificent. Southampton turned up with no belief. I couldn’t believe they were still chucking everyone forward at 4-0 down, suicidal defending. Enzo ball at its best, fair play to him, he got it spot on. -

Then they should be transparent about their intentions and consult with the supporters. They’ve pushed it for two years and it’s still a minority who want it/use it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there is no justification for the price in comparison to other clubs. -

Agreed, businesses do change their methods and technologies, but if people don’t like or agree with those, there are other companies you would consider switching to. It’s not the same with a football club. You are correct, if they had charged £5 there wouldn’t have been an uproar, so why didn’t they. You can call it a non charge, but the fact remains it is. From no charge previously, to £25 now. It may be easy enough to enter the ground with a phone, but I never find myself stuck at the turnstiles behind someone with a card. Only 1600 season ticket holders switched to nfc this campaign, which means for the majority, this is a charge. Times do change, but not always for the better. -

That isn’t the point though is it. If people had wanted to go with NFC tickets, then they already would’ve done. My personal preference is to have a card as I feel it is more reliable, and I like to physically have a ticket. I have a smartphone, I choose not to put my bank card on it as it is my preference to pay using my card. Does my bank charge me £25 to have a debit card, no it doesn’t. NFC tickets have been available as a choice for the past two seasons. Overwhelming people have chosen to stick with a card. The card has had no charge since NFC has come in, so why now? And why £25, when if you happen to lose your current card, they charge £15 to replace it. There is no reasonable justification to put a £25 charge on a physical card. They could just keep the current cards in place and save putting new ones into production if they are that concerned with recouping money. And if it’s towards a ‘more sustainable stadium’, they could stop spending thousands on clappers every home game. -

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
DerbyshireFox replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
So for those of us on the auto renewal, when can we apply for our ‘card’. Not sure whether I’ll be succumbing and paying for a card or not, but want to make sure I can at least have the option. It’s fine some saying don’t pay and get nfc, the point is that choice was there last season and didn’t come with a £25 surcharge for the privilege. It only costs 10-15 for a replacement if it’s lost at present, so how £25 is justifiable in any sense is beyond me. The timing is clearly to bring in more funds ahead of the next accounting period. They would save more money not forking out on clappers for every home game instead, thereby improving ‘sustainability’ rather than screwing fans for more money. Take no issue with the 5% rise, prices have been very reasonable for years, but the charge to have a physical object in your hand is grossly unnecessary -
