Yeh think it's gone now. Hampshire and Worcs need to lose both their last two, Essex loss one and we need to win both. -
Nobody signed yet apart from the necessity of Begovic, while most other clubs doing lots of business. I know we need to get players out the door, but we also need a refresh, with players coming in. The clock is ticking....

That's great, we'll have him and Ezkazaki to strengthen the squad as Rehan will be absent for the first two. Am I right in thinking that we have 4 players of of contract at the end of the season: Wright, Walker, Salisbury and Kimber? -

Not sure he'd want to go there; the Turkish league and living Turkey is not everyone's bag. -
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)

I wonder if everyone is up for sale at the right price apart from the kids. -

Has this been pushed through because we really need the money and BEK hasn't or might not happen yet? -
I believe this when I see it.

3 year deal and signs immediately, so available once the Hundred is finished. -

The fact that he could play lots of different positions means he's quite useful. I don't see what we gain in selling him as the money won't be reinvested. -

It's starting to show what a difference Ben green and Rehan make to the team. Two all-rounders bang in form. -

That's 16 wickets at 13.87 for Green in this year's one-day cup. Watch as we lose him for The Hundred next year. -

Should have won that really, we missed not having a 6th bowler option. -

Andrews is very tactile. I wouldn't want him touching me all the time. -

Return to form for Patel and Hill. If we bowl well, this defendable. -
Looking more and more likely that we are only going to replace a departure that leaves a clear gap such as BEK and that will be a loan with an option.

“I think the precursor to change is pain,” he said after an agonising night for Rangers fans. “I knew coming here that there was going to be some pain early on.” Bloody hell. I don't remember that in his first press conference.

Going well with the bat now as well. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets picked up by the IPL if he keeps this up. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Players get less protection from refs in the Champ. Saw that on Saturday, when Justin was moved to the left and was more effective helping Monga, then he got smashed by one of the Preston players, which put an end to the momentum we were having. -

Josh Davey plays most games for Somerset, but a 3 year contract is a good offer at his age. Green we know about and he wants to play all forms of cricket. Tattersall is getting no cricket at Yorkshire and will probably at least get games here in the one-day cup or when we have injuries. Eskanzi, we don't know details of the deal, but he plays most games for Middlesex and is involved in The Hundred, so wouldn't be available for the one-day cup and might also end up T20 Captain, who knows. Kimber is out of contract this year, is that correct? So he may not be here next season. -

Yep, the Cricketer magazine confirms it's Davey, Tattersall, Green and Eskinazi. -

I was assuming it's just back-up keeper and batsman to replace Swindells. -
At 29 he should be showing a bit more leadership and acting as a role model. There might be disappointment in his own performance or the way his career is panning own, anxiety over what comes next as he hasn't got many years left. There could also be shame in the wider group that a 16 year old scored and created the other best chance, while guys nearly twice his age didn't contribute. Very turbulent times for sure as you don't know who will be at the club next week, but isolating himself won't help, as you say better to stand with his team-mates.

Preston could have won by more. They had a very simple strategy of hitting long balls down the flanks, knowing we didn't have the pace at the back to deal with it. But if we give the ball away on the edge of their penalty area (which Winks did twice in the last 10 minutes), that will happen.

We're a batsman short at least, especially with Swindells retiring. Not just Patel, but Hill's form has been poor in the one-day cup. -

Her career has been in horse racing, apart from 1 year in Rugby League. Jarvis to earn some side money as a consultant.
