Slow backwards boring football until we're losing

I see what you're saying, but a quick ball would've given Lookman more time and space. I'd rather see Lookman in possession and trying to solve that problem than Soy -

Did anyone also see Soyuncu dribble the ball totally unopposed to within about 3 yards of Lookman before passing it to him, giving Lookman absolutely nowhere to go? -
Yes, it's pretty obvious really isn't it? If you put UFS in the middle of Pen 2 at Filbert Street, then you'd get a few hundred like-minded folk joining in. Only the club can fix this, as has been said many times over. Not everyone at Filbert Street joined in the singing, of course. Some fans don't always sing, but they will still react to what's going on in the stadium and this adds to the atmosphere. More people are likely to join in with the popular songs and chants, for example the Vichai song, or simple songs like We're all going on a European tour, dilly ding dilly dong.

Brendan deserves credit for good man management

He's had some good moments (the sliding tackle on Ronaldo stands out), but is clearly having a crisis of confidence. Noticeable reduction in Cruyff turns of late

Brilliant effort, what a week for Leicester City 👏 🙌

Here's a Russian tune. That's my contribution, now over to the rest of you for the easy bit I.e. coming up with the words 😂

It's the thought that counts 🤣🤣🤣 So long as it's making some noise, that's all that matters 👍👍

Tsamina mina, eh eh, Daka Daka, eh eh eh, Tsamina mina zangalewa, he comes from Zambia ??? So says Leicesterfanz on Instagram anyway I'll give it a go next time, but like you say, will probably only get the Patson Daka and Zambia bits! 🤣

Agree. Nobody wins the ball back better than Wilf

This sounded loud and brilliant yesterday, but what are the lyrics please? Ta v much 😁👍

Great idea! (and one of my favourite TV shows as a kid 👍) Would catch on for sure - no excuse for not knowing the words either 🤣 Remember the punk version by The Dickies? For those who like to sing really fast....😄

Slow backwards boring football until we're losing

I'll pre-empt this by admitting I'm no football tactics expert, like some on FT. Just enjoyed playing the game, many years ago (not at any high level), and absolutely love watching The City. My take on this is that the team seem to have lost that #fearless mentality in their play. If anything, we appear to have become #fearful So cautious and terrified of losing possession that they dare not make a telling pass, or dare to go past the defender, preferring to go sideways or backwards instead, because that way we don't lose the ball. But, we don't threaten the opposition goal either! It's paralysing our attack, until we go behind in the game and have to come out and play. As many have pointed out, this can be about confidence, but I also suspect BR is insistent on keeping possession stats high. James Maddison's performance off the bench in Poland was refreshing, because he was fearless, constantly demanding the ball, taking on his man and playing the risky pass. A stark contrast to his recent appearances, where I think he's seemed to be under so much pressure not to fail, or lose the ball. We have the most talented group of attacking players ever, but BR needs to find a way to let them off this tight leash and let them express themselves. Just my take on it. Thanks COYB #befearlessagain -

That was truly awful that day and always one of the worst away journeys too. Can you see any of the current team coming over to apologise to the fans like they did that day though? -
FA Cup winners - was that the final piece in the jigsaw?
Swalshed replied to Spudulike's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's always going to be a bit of a puzzle with our little, but incredibly special and unique football club. Could be top 5 or maybe bottom 5; FA Cup winners or knocked out in the 3rd round by Newport County! Whatever Leicester City serves up, just enjoy the ride, however puzzling, exhilarating or frustrating it proves to be. But as Claudio said "Never stop dreaming" 🙂👍 -
Loved the 'afters' at full-time between Ian Wright and Walshy. Lives long in the memory

Well said. That Arsenal 3-3 was one of the best ever

Thankfully a small (but highly irritating) minority. Definitely detracts from the match day experience

Brighton 2-1 Leicester post match

Brings to mind the 1997 UEFA Cup home leg defeat and Martin O Neill raging afterwards about the incompetent officials -
Too right. We never got started first half and deserved nothing. BR under pressure now to bench Madders next match. Only their second goal seemed to spark us into life. On the plus side, Lookman looks real quality.
