  1. Decent steak and ale pie πŸ™‚, but no Tiger πŸ‘Ž, so settled for a pint of the local (Harvey's?) bitter which was fine. Signs above the counter apologising for being short staffed and slow service. Made me smile, because it was still far better than at the KP.
  2. Thanks, I'm looking forward to sampling those now. Brought up on Tiger weren't we! Cheers πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸΊπŸ₯§
  3. Yes, it was brass monkeys that night for sure πŸ₯Ά. Can't remember the game at all tbh. Just recall it taking forever to drive back to Leicester after. πŸ‘
  4. I remember having a particularly nice Balti pie at Villa once. Expecting the usual bland football fare though at Brighton tomorrow. Seaside football grounds should be selling fish & chips in my view, although I know the Amex is quite a way from the shore. I'm sure they sold us amazing fish & chips at Grimsby away, or maybe that was outside the ground? It was a very long time ago, so my memory might be failing me πŸ˜„
  5. Surely, you'd walk right up to Wenger and say "chat shit get banged"?
  6. I wasp thinking the same thing
  7. So long as you didn't eat their pizzas too, we should all be alright....🀣
  8. Still love him, of course
  9. Felt sorry for Castagne today. He made so many lung bursting overlap runs down the right today, only for Albrighton to fluff the pass or not pass to him at all! Frustrating to watch. Such a pity we didn't get a new RW in this summer.
  10. Brilliant night that πŸ˜„πŸ‘
  11. Perez should've gone down when the guy trod on his foot and won a free-kick. He's tried to put his foot over the ball to keep it and he's unfortunate. That said, Fornals is fortunate not to be stretchered off tonight
  12. Soumare looks like a player who won't get bullied
  13. Well, if, as currently seems to be the case, we can actually manage to keep our top players at the club this year, then I was hopeful we'd be looking upwards and not down the table to find our close rivals. However, the unfortunate disastrous injury to Fofana, coupled with Evan's persistent foot problem, has cast serious doubts on such aspirations. From the chasing pack, I guess it's all down to whoever can find that chemistry, the winning formula, the 'X factor' if you like. Will Rafa be the one to finally drag the perennially under-performing Everton out of the shadow of their Merseyside rivals? Will Danny Ings give Villa the spark they need to compensate for Grealish departing? Like others have said, I really hope Nuno won't be the one to reverse Spurs' non trophy winning formula 🀣 For me, it's most likely to be West Ham and David Moyes who represent the greatest threat in the race for 5th / 6th. They seem to be building a strong team. It'll be interesting to see if their own fans will derail it all for them!
  14. Agreed. Hopefully, he'll read the game like Johnny Evans 🀞
  15. A song for Top... To the Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes song 'Up Where We Belong' (from the film Officer and a Gentleman) "Top lifts us up where we belong It's a Leicester side Fills me up with pride Top lifts us up where we belong To the Champions League He makes us believe" I'm not great at making the lyrics fit, so please feel free to alter or bin as appropriate 🀣 Cheers COYB!!! Chorus comes 1 minute into the video
  16. Just wanted to add my positive thoughts and good wishes to all the previous posters. Always enjoy reading your pearls of wisdom @fuchsntf. Your posts lend some kind of different dimension to FT and add a unique perspective to the debate. Enjoy the incredible season about to begin and many more to come too. Stay positive.
  17. Like many of the other old timers on here, I was sad to see the end of Filbert Street, but wow, wow, wow, this is just incredible! Love it πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™
  18. Not very good at this usually, but it's for Top, so thought I'd try.... To the Joe Cocker song Love Lifts Us Up. "Top lifts us up where we belong It's a Leicester side Fills me with pride Top lifts us up where we belong To the Champions League He makes us believe" Sorry if lyrics don't quite fit. Feel free to alter or bin as appropriate. Cheers
  19. Yes. The more options available to unlock stubborn defences the better. So long as whoever they eventually sign has something different to bring to the current squad. Love him or hate him, Mahrez had tricks aplenty that we've never been able to replace.
  20. Brilliant! Loving that.... "It's a Patson" πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  21. Head says City, for all the good reasons stated above, but heart says Fosse for it's totally unique quality, one of a kind. However, that said, and especially after this recent incredible era, I can truly say that Leicester is in fact already unique, and we have a club that is defined by so much more than a name.
  22. You should join the club commercial team....definite opportunity they've missed there! (I'd have bought one anyway) πŸ€£πŸ‘
