Souttar and Thomas REALLLLY need to be benched

I have a hard time blaming him because we're asking a winger that thrives in running in behind to play against a packed defense, there's a reason he's that type of winger He can't beat his man or use his left foot, he's basically meat and drink for a full back coz he's only ever going one way

I really like this guy but his touch in really important moments really let's him down, he's 22, he's got to be better than that.

Even as a Russel Martin defender that was really embarrassing, I can't put that loss on his tactics but it's his job to send these guys out there full of energy,we looked laboured from minute 1 Souttar is genuinely horrible,he gets away with it because he had an injury last season but this guy's only slightly better than okoli

Got really tired at the end which is to be expected, I hope he doesn't get an injury from all the minutes and the weight of our midfield on his tiny shoulders

Is it shooting technique? If you gave these chances to our opponents they don't let us off the hook like this

Our players are so shot shy and when they do inevitably shoot It's like these guys are trying not to crack an egg

Really I understand the complaints about our play but I need fans of this club to understand that we can only go quickly back to front when the opponents aren't packing 11 men in their own half, you saw against Ipswich when they actually came at us we went at them quickly and with pace, alot of teams in this league are going to sit back and just soak up pressure to hit us on the counter, we do need to get better at creating chances however, I think that will come when the attack gels because our preferred front five have played less than 5 games together.

I don't think we should be using his time at Rangers as a yard stick, they're horrible without him this season as well.

Pressing instantly got abysmal as soon as he stepped on the pitch, Like at least Bobby Reid did decent today so what's Cullen's excuse

I love our academy lads and young loans but playing with them is the most frustrating thing ever , regardless, get some Cbs and make sure Cullen is banished from the squad and let's win the league

WOW, playing some actual football players instead of the terror twins at centerback and we look actually good,if we stick with those 2 we could lose every game

Of everyone in this team that plays I really hope McFarlane does well,I think shockingly Luke Thomas looked better centrally than as a fullback so if we have to play him central so he doesn't keep getting beat by his winger then so be it

I think he overrated the competence of his defenders, specifically the 2 CBS we do have, two of the worst I've ever seen, every chance we gift the opponent is from these 2 just being the worst CB pairing we've ever seen

I think it's really sad for him that we looked better after he went off

I really hope this first half performance shows him we really can't trust some of these players,Liam Cullen I know is new but he's not had a single good game yet. Oliver skipp, I don't think that's a red personally but it's really funny how the game bypasses him so much that we have genuinely lost nothing with him going off,in fact, we've become better at defending their transitions since.

Such a strange game, I didn't think most of our players badly, but that left hand side of Souttar and Thomas was so awful it undid everything else the others did, genuinely every big chance came from those 2 and McCarthy

Special special talent, his ability to ghost in games is frightening...who you gonna call

Hopefully he plays RW so it allows alves to play as a Midfielder like in pre season, because he lacks the pace or the passing to beat a full back and kept ignoring braybrook and Joseph last match on the over lap , was annoying to watch

Take whatever we get above 5 million for him, I don't know whether it's a lack of effort due to familiarity or the football leaving him but frankly his time here is over.

Otchere is a striker Jake Evans is too small to play that role so he plays on the wing, Evans needs a lot of work to make It imo, he's appeared abit and has never impressed me

If I didn't watch the match today going by the comments you'd think we lost 4-0 ,were people waiting and chomping at the bit for a performance like this after a month in charge? That's insane

The regular players we know to be horrible were, well horrible. Mavididi, Bobby Reid, okoli, so I'm not too shocked. Our academy players are very promising but my word do they lack the final pass/shot, that's apart of the growing they will need if they're gonna make a name for theirselves here.

I'm guessing with players like this you're also signing them for their off the pitch stuff, which yeah, the club can't be full of young players, it'll never work,so some older players to mould them is needed.

Perhaps I watched the wrong game, I thought Jake Evans was awful and we lost control of the game when Woyo came to lb because Jake Evans is not quick enough to offer an outlet like Woyo did,so all they did was crowd the middle and stop our 2 8's, even then ,we still created chances, just need to take them
