Make chances for him and he scores, I'm shocked, completely and utterly SHOCKED I tell you
-
That was genuinely the worst coached half I've ever seen, its like he just put them in a formation and told them to do what felt natural

Southampton v Leicester - FA CUP - Saturday 14th Feb 3pm

Its a shame too because that first half was a glimpse of what this team could do, i mean he even gave mavididi his best game in a while, we've delayed this sacking and its going to hurt us quite abit. If this isn't Kings last game for us I think we might need to call a team to investigate top and rudkin -

Last 25 minutes aside I thought king coached us very well, had the wingers in dangerous positions instead of on the halfway line, used daka as a battering ram of sorts, his inexperience did cost us in the end by not plugging the gaping hole on the left side but that is to be expected, lets see if he can repeat the first half and learn from his mistakes today -
Thought I was in the wrong thread, you are saying this about harry 'keep it tidy and ticking " winks???
-
Best thing for him is to leave and find a club to coach and get experience, no experienced coach brings winks back into the team like this nor does one bring winks on today, nobody blames him for this at all and he can leave knowing he tried his best
-
I am actually not too bothered by Reid going because it forces the next manager or king not to use him ,plus he never does anything anyways so all we lost was the physical presence of 11 men not the quality
-
Goes without saying that telling players to "just work harder" was not going to fix an issue of tactics, but I'm not employed as a coach what do I know.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Slab Edd replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I understand the thought process behind signing ayew,he was signed for his ability to win fouls, that's it, get the ball, win a foul, relieve pressure, an incredible tool for a promoted side, HOWEVER,a day after signing ayew, the premier League tweaked the rules and allowed the league to be much more physical, this means Ayews soft fouls were immediately eliminated as a tool, and we got a pretty average player approaching his twilight, not prolific enough to play striker, not pacey enough to be a serious threat on the wing. I say this as a ghanaian -
It was Windy for both teams Marti
-
Its not that he's getting the team talk wrong,or even telling them to sit on a lead, should we have one. He's just not got the tactics to adapt, so we start really well, end the first half well, but the other teams manager makes tweaks to combat it and cifuentes idea to combat this is to do nothing, believing all football games have "up and downs" and we should just weather the storm, its kinda upsetting to look at
-
The most painful thing is that we've not heard a single thing about the board losing confidence, nothing, supporting this club helped me gain my interest in football again, now it's killing it again. Just so depressing
-
What do you mean, managers make a difference at any team they go to, like how we looked stagnant under puel but then Rodgers came and we beat arsenal 3-1 that same season

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official
Slab Edd replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Some of you saying stuff like he is an awful striker etc etc but I cannot even agree or disagree with you because he's gotten zero actual chances, like we have 3 different type of strikers in this team and we cannot create for either of them, that is a coaching problem, its not like Daka in the promotion season where he was missing chances, now he's getting ZERO chances to even miss. That is alarming -
For anyone saying "we shouldn't sack him because top is worse/he's not our biggest problems" I am begging you to tell me his gameplan after 13 games.
-
The lack attacking pattern isn't going to change over the international break
-
Yes the squad is not going to break the points record but ,and that's absolutely on the board, but the we play is so so bad,its so predictable, pass to winks, winks to Issahaku and pray he can become arjen robben. Its so predictable,we say we don't have a good striker but we're not even creating for the ones we're playing right now,its so turgid and slow and THAT is on cifuentes
-
Will alves needs another loan as well
-
I try not to be too negative in the open but I'm struggling to see how Kasey Mcateer made it through our academy, are we misprofiling him, I heard he was played as a wing back in his first loan season, and we might have to use him there again
-
We're going to be playing alot more forward a lot more quickly, and that in general does not suit winks.
-
I thought he was pretty decent yesterday, a slide tackle in a friendly just shows how eager and willing he is,most would have just let that go,broke koln lines with some front passes that I have honest to god never seen Winks do for us too

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Slab Edd replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
This position is understandable only if you think we didn't make or create any chances in that run, which we did, they just wasted them, the first bad run we created 5.21 xg , scoring 1 goal before Tottenham ,then 3.13 in the run afterwards, its not great numbers, but if your team creates 8 xg but your players are scoring 1 goal then there's something seriously wrong with the quality of players -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Slab Edd replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ruud hasn't been the best manager in the world,in some games we've looked truly terrible, but in some games as well,we should have taken at least a point, the first Man city match, the Crystal palace match, the aston villa match should have been a draw, Brighton we should have beat, Liverpool which we had a goal chalked out and would would put us on about 33 points meaning we're still in the race, he hasn't been the best, but this team and their lack of quality really let him and the club down -
He's a great athlete, but as a footballer he's stealing a living, fullbacks that can't complete a cross in the modern game are next to useless
-
I thought he was our best attacker first half which of course meant he had to he taken off as he might have actually made us a bit more dangerous
