Reality will hit when we play a team that’s actually half decent in transition. Which from what I know of Plymouth they are. Beating us under Brussel will be fairly easy if you’ve got a half decent striker and wingers, we’re not particularly a threat in front of goal, so if you can contain us, we’re susceptible on the counter. Will be interesting tomorrow, if there is a test on this league, Plymouth are the first, and I’m not convinced at all with how we are at the minute……

I don’t get this comment? Why? I’m not lay on the floor in a crumpled mess every time I think about Leicester….. my opinion is what it is, we are ****ed until Top sells up, so…. I don’t spend hours and hours thinking about how crap we are, I’ve got rid of my season ticket, I’ve watched one game and that’s it. I rely on one or two of my mates who still go to tell me what’s happening….. otherwise popping on here a couple of times a day is literally my association with the club at the moment….. So, a very minor % of my life is now taken up by Leicester…… I don’t have time to be exhausted….. in terms of Martin I’ve never rated him, he’s crap, his football is crap, his general career has been underwhelming and so far he is proving to still be crap. Fairly simple thought process.

Quite a few didn’t want him to begin with. I certainly didn’t, any I’m not prepared to give him a chance because he is shit, and we won’t improve and he will get sacked, so, we may as well sack him now.

I don’t. He may have his preferred style, but if you don’t have the tools to do it you adapt….. you try to win football matches, he isn’t, he’s stroking his ego whilst achieving nothing.

Deep down, who actually thinks Martin will turn this around and we will get promoted?

Of course it’s reliant on our sale, but everyone wittering on saying “well you’ve got your reset why aren’t you happy”…. Because we haven’t, we’ve not had the “reset” and it’s not in motion either, because we won’t sell at £200m, the reset only begins once Top has officially handed the club owner to a completely new ownership group. We won’t get promoted under Martin, it’s abundantly clear, he thinks is acceptable to play Bobby Reid upfront……

But Martin is the wrong choice in my opinion, we can be positive about the academy players of course, but the wider issues somewhat bury that…. The problem is, if things continue as they are, the toxicity will increase and they will become victim to it…. There hasn’t been a reset, because the reset is needed at ownership level, we need a cultural reset, not so much players, yes that can sometimes invoke change, but the players were bringing in are either washed up or on loan, and as we saw with Mukasa once the it looks like the race is run, they can easily give up and blame their environment for poor performances. In essence, this isn’t the reset we want or need yet, because that comes once the club is finally sold.

My expectation is we win 46 games, so yes in my eyes we’ve failed already, unrealistic or not. I am negative, because I’m sick and tired of King Power and sick and tired of what has now become a completely lazy approach to run the club because they now want to sell it…. Just the same mistakes being made time and time again, but the problem now, is we’re in an extremely dangerous position, a boardroom that’s now pretty much said “we’re done” so we will see zero investment and progression in the club, a lazy managerial appointment that will fail, we’re really on a knifes edge, because I’m not convinced the club will be sold until Top wakes up and gets a dose of reality….. you’ve got football experts saying we are worth between £30-£50m and he want £200 potentially plus…… Everyone’s living in a daydream, we’re hurtling towards a disaster but seemingly without resistance…. At the moment it’s a bit like watching a tornado approach your house, and you’re sat on the porch with a beer thinking everything will be okay….. I get people want to be positive, and want to try and cheer the team on, but in my opinion it’s all wasted, all hope is misguided, and the same pain and agonising disappointment will be felt by all fans again come the end of the season, and it won’t be us “bed wetters” fault, it’s Top’s…. Id much rather invest my time into ensuring we’ve got a football club to support, there’s a very real possibility we might not if things continue as they are……

They were a lot worse than I thought they would be to be fair. I expected them to be very physical and direct, and they weren’t really, very passive and a game we should have 100% won, but there’s just zero cutting edge, and extremely concerning Russell seems to think we don’t need another striker…… We’ve been relegated before having one of the better defensive records but not scoring enough goals.
